OMG I didn’t see him before but now as a fan of SMF, so happy to see him in Candy.

As a hispanic fan D.Os pronunciation was really good, I showed this song to my mom and she thought it was reik (A famous group here), we can tell he really worked on learning the pronunciation, we were so grateful

I think she'll like Baekhyun's b sides more. From all his mini albums. Maybe Stay Up, Ice Queen, Bungee, All I got and Love Scene And from D.O. I think she'll enjoy I'm gonna love you from his mini album.

Actually Baekhyun sang many genres : His Osts for dramas - ballads Had collabs - jazz, rock ballad, indie, edm, hiphop and so on Yes though of he prefers to explore R&B more and his albums are different types of this genre By the way his Japan album - BAEKHYUN(self titled) with Get you alone as title song also amazing

Hurt collab with Seo Moontak is rock ballad song by Baekhyun by the way. He sings every genre, though owns r&b genre

Baekhyun's voice and this music in Bambi.... I have goosebumps and shivers.

D.O. does runs in EXO songs because that's his special skill that makes him stand out. But if you've ever watched any variety show with him, he always sings "Billionaire" by Bruno Mars cause that's the style he actually enjoys - the "acoustic guitar, early Bruno Mars with a touch of Jason Mraz" style. Not because he didn't want his album to sound similar to Baekhyun, but because acoustic is his preffered genre. The same way Chen can hit every damn note known to man and would be an amazing rocker, but releases only ballads cause he loves that kind of music.

I live for her reactions. Her honesty and appreciation. We were all waiting for D.O. R&B album... but we accepted the acoustic cause it made sense. D.O. voice is clean. He's my Kenny Greene, I'm here for the riffs and runs. It's time to introduce Chen, sharp vocals. Chanyeol live performances. Also have her react to EXO(엑소)- MAMA + Monster + Wolf (Tokyo dome), vocal tones are endless. Just change the opacity and pray it doesn't get blocked. Great reaction guys.

But as someone who digs vocal performances, I think it would be a little bit unfair if I don't mention Chen who's so good technically and is quite mature as a vocal artist. There's just a lot that he can do utilizing his voice and supported by his technique. He can go super smooth and tender or he can make his voice sound piercing and desperate when he needs to. And it's easy to overlook this when people are not exploring his solo works, especially his first album. He really amazes me with that one.

Baekhyun's 4th solo album and title track is called "Bambi" for multiple reasons. One reason is because one of Baekhyun's nicknames he has been given by some of his fans is Bambi. Fans say he looks cute like a doe-eyed deer. This album is meant to be a gift for fans because he was about to enlisting in the military and he wanted to give us something to keep us company while he is away for 18 months serving his country. However, the song is more about the fact that Bambi refers to "night rain" as you see he talks about in the lyrics -- it's a play on words in Korean -- Bam as in night and bi as in rain. And in English, Bambi refers to a woman with long legs -- and that is where the name for the Disney character comes from -- which is also the nickname of the character/woman Baekhyun is talking about in the song. :D However, the song has very little, if anything, to do with the Disney movie -- the cute little deer with the same name, isn't really even connected to the song. (In western pop culture the name Bambi is given to female characters in novels and movies because it is used as a metaphor for her sexual appeal and appearance. That is why Disney chose that name for the deer in their story because it was a play on the fact that Bambi has long legs and big doe-eyes like a voluptuous woman. :D So Baekhyun is not talking about a deer in the song, he is using it as a nickname for the woman he is singing about.) All I know is that, we see SuperM in a subway train in their "100" MV, we see aespa also in a subway train in their debut MV "Black Mamba" and we see SHINee in an old train station in their recent comeback with their "Don't Call Me" MV. We even see Kai on train tracks in his "Film: Kai" solo debut teaser video during his "Amnesia" section of the video and people on a subway train platform as it transitions to his song "Mmmh." And before that we saw Key from SHINee in a subway train in his solo debut song "One of Those Nights." And if we go back even further, you see EXO on train tracks in their "Love Me Right" MV and EXO-CBX (which Baekhyun is also a member of) on train tracks in their "Horololo" MV, etc. And because Baekhyun is the leader of SuperM and a member of EXO that usually means it's connected to SM's Universe.

I am not sure of her comment about "americanized" in terms of the "aesthetics" (I believe) in the MV I mean, we Asians aren't always going to be in our traditional attires eating rice everywhere and everytime. We do live normal lives too. We have casual lifestyle too.

AAAAAAA OMG MY BIAS. I LOVE D.O. VOCALS. I LOVE D.O. DANCE. I LOVE D.O. ACTOR. I LOVE D.O. VISUAL. Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently". Kyungsoo's unique voice gives each song a unique charm. I'm ready to listen to his voice as much as I want.! Even when Kyungsoo just speaks, he wants to listen and listen to endlessly, such a pleasant voice.

Though i love all of baekhyun's songs, I think Elliotte won't be as impressed with any of baekhyun's older mainstream works which is a considerable portion up until bambi. All I got and cry for love set the bar to the sky. Just proves how much work baekhyun's put in for bambi ep and his constant improvement.

Mainstream? I don't see what's mainstream about Baekhyun's first album at all? do you have any example? Realistically .... some of Bambi is more mainstream - as in - in line with SMs current sound and shares some similarity with Kai's solo work. ... Which isn't that odd seeing both are a SM production and they work with the same people.... Wether or not people randomly like it doesn't make it it mainstream or not ??

Do Kyungsoo is just an incredible person that I will never stop admiring. At first glance, the album, the songs and his vocals may seem simple, but in fact it is not so at all. A large range does not make you a better vocalist yet, because another important role is played by the "technique", which Kyungsoo undoubtedly has great. He has such control over his voice that he makes all the transitions from low to high notes completely smoothly and even seems to make no effort. Quite naturally, during a song, it can change its timbre from incredibly sweet to sexually rude and sound simply amazing in each. Kyungsoo is one of those few vocalists who can make your heart flutter. / This album is something unique that Kyungsoo has put his soul into. He himself wrote the lyrics for the title song "Rose", and also took a direct part in writing each song. He learned to play guitar while still serving in the army, studied independently and played each of his songs from the album to record. He has recorded songs in several languages "Korean, English, Spanish" which not everyone does.

The two girls on bambi are simeez (left) and rian (right) and both of them are part of a dance crew named LACHICA. That dance crew participated on street woman fighter and I HIGHLY recommend you to watch that reality they gave dancers the spot they deserve in the industry and now are mega popular on Korea, their talent is insane and the show was magnificent and super entertaining

Bambi is a fantasy love song. The song refer to Bam (Night) Bi (Rain) in Korean but at the same time referring to Bambi the little deer in Disney character (as fantasy) element in this song (If you refer to the lyric) Correct me if I'm wrong.

You're right about in Korean Bambi being a play on words referring to Bam as in night and be as in rain. EXO is my very first and only favorite band in the entire K-POP industry and baby Kyungsoo "D.O." is my very first and only bias in the entire K-POP industry. Or rather, it was love at first sight, of course all the members are unrealistically talented beauties, but it was baby D.O. who attracted my attention as soon as I saw him for the first time.

It's a shame that it's so tricky to react to Japanese albums on YT cause I really enjoy his Japanese mini album and I think the sound is slightly different. And yes, Hurt with Seomoontak is a really different sound that also suits Baekhyun very well. (Gave me such Pat Benatar vibes...) I can think of other Baekhyun performances that are in a different style but many of them are from shows that might get blocked. You could always show her some of the big EXO songs like El Dorado or Drop That that sound a little different from their lead singles style or something from EXO-CBX?. Baekhyun put out so much music in the two years or so before enlistment, it's easy to forget it's only been two years since solo debut... he has a lot more to give and develop. Kyungsoo actually told Baekhyun, after hearing Bambi, that he thought Baekhyun had really found his sound with that album. I personally was not at all surprised to hear the style Kyungsoo chose for his first solo album. He always does things his own way and thinks more about what he wants to say and what music he will enjoy doing rather than what he can do to impress. He is such a classic and thoughtful kind of person, I thought his album sounded a lot like him. Just like the song he helped write before enlistment, That's Okay. It felt like a continuation of that :D

if she wants some of the less popular stuff, i think she should check out EXO's ballads and slower songs: Wait; My Answer; Love, Love, Love; For Life. And since she's into DO just SANGING: Tell Me What Is Love and For Life english version

To say that in EXO someone is better and someone is worse is simply IMPOSSIBLE because absolutely every participant is unrealistically talented, this is literally an IDEAL GROUP. Every EXO group and solo album is on a completely different level to this day, even after 10 years of career. I am absolutely not afraid to say that EXO is a real K-POP, now there are countless groups in the fourth generation, but they absolutely do not stand out in any way, trying to focus more and more on the West and POP music, thereby becoming monotonous and disposable. EXO is the only band in the entire K-POP industry, by the way, to this day where literally every member sings amazingly, including rappers and dancers. Minute popularity does not determine the talent and legendarity of the artist, because even after 10 years of his career, EXO songs are literally sung by the whole of Asia, because EXO is the real K-POP.
