I find Zydrunas more impressive on the log for reps than on his WR. His technique is perfect, he knows how to lap, clean and press the log like no one else, his 10th reps is exactly like his 1st one, it is so efficient. When you watch him on an event for reps you can clearly see how much stronger he was than anyone else. Lalas, Eddie, Thor were always good pressers, with strong arms and shoulders, but their feet and mid sections were all over the place, moving around between reps. Z probably had the strongest core ever, there is not even sing of a wobble or lost of balance and energy through the reps, he is just like a machine, impressive.

The greatest "strongman" of all time ? Absolutely... was he, at any point in his career the strongest man to ever live? I don't think so, that would probably go to the 2018 bjornson or the 2017 eddie hall.

He was the strongest human to ever lived until Eddie Hall came around at 2016, but for a good amount of time he just was, gredat deadlift, great squat, grest press, great becnh, great everything. I Agree though Thor but this 2020 was the strongest he has been with room for more.

Hall lasted a few years. Big Z lasted decades over 50 world records 8 Arnold's and 4 WSM. Hall couldn't carry big Z's jock.

Ok so now we are going to give strongest man to ever live title just based on just one lift .You and others are wanking that 500 kg deadlift Eddie done in 2016 way too much . Sorry to break it to you but in same year Edddie broke deadlift record he didn´t win any major strongman competition ,no WSM no Arnold classic , in 2015 year before his famous deadlift nothing too , year after in 2017 he only managed to win WSM he also competed at Europe strongest man and he didnt win. He didnt even have one great year where he dominated major events , in order to say that year he was unbeatable and so strong no one could compete with him. In 2012 Savickas won WSM , Strongman Champions league , Europe strongest man , Arnold classic europe all those are major strongman events and Savickas dominated in all them. Bjornson in 2018 did like Savickas won major events like WSM , Europe strongest man , Arnold classic. Also Eddie doesn ´t even hold that record anymore he got surpassed by Bjornson. If we are goint to claim someone is strongest ever just by using one exercise then we can say Maddox is also the strongest considering he broke bench press record. Savickas has : 1. literally 50 + more titles than Eddie in strongman 2. has broke world records dozens more times than Eddie 3. stayed on top for over 10 years while Eddie basically one 1 event nad was on top for just one year , and even that is questionable because at that year he lost at other major competition So please stop with nonsense Eddie has nothing on Savickas .

@@djordjedangubic7270 I see that you are quite long winded. Winning titles has nothing to do with being the strongest man, on his strongest day. If you take Eddie's best lifts on his best day, I think it would beat big's best lifts on his best day.

@@TIGERSDFWI see you have no knowledge on matter to talk about those stuff. Eddie has nothing in his accomplishments list in order to claim he is the strongest man ever (especially now with Bjornson breaking his deadlift record and actually not passing out after lift) At this moment regarding strongman competitions Eddie holds only one world record and that is axle press 216 KG. Savickas at this monet still holds world records at : - Log lift 228 KG - Hummer tire deadlift 524 KG - Medicine ball 22 KG thrown 5, 18 meters This is just max weight records , what about repetitions records thats require strength and endurance : Eddie has nothing Savickas has : - World record squating 329 KG X 15 - Axle clean and press 166 KG x 8 Dynamic exercises that require speed and strength : Eddie has nothing Savickas has : - Atlas stones heavy set world record - Yoke carry wold record 640 KG fastest time 3, 8 seconds. These are just record that are still there , there are many former ones that got surpassed. Its clear Savickas is better at every category , regardless is it about max weight , repetition or speed. Inform yourself a little bit before writing nonsense.
