What I love is that they had already created fantasy cellphones in the form of the stones of farspeech, even going so far as to say they could put apps on them, and then they completely got rid of that whole concept in favour of the adventure zunes because the joke was too good to resist, and honestly that’s a whole ass mood and very in character for the McElroys in general

Shit what if Taako has some sort of complex that makes him feel he needs to prove that he doesn't need magic to be successful and that's what's holding him back from using it. Then there will be a "the magic was in you all along" moment where Taako busts out a massive spell at a climactic moment. 🤔 Anyway I'm really curious to see the backstory on the withdrawal from using magic regardless, already a super interesting twist. 😁

I love the mental image of Kravitz getting the phone call, stopping doing his 'work voice' to talk to Susan and then call Taako, and then going back to his ''''work voice''''.

Misfits and Magic especially is wonderful, she’s so funny and has such great rapport with her players. They even have a holiday special coming out next month!

Seeing Clint’s face as he plays Merle is a different experience. You can SEE his thought process and I love it.

griffin playing as davenport makes me really happy what in the god damn. they all started with these characters so long ago only to grow back to them 10 years into the future

that little nod to a cursed real sword really got me. 💀

Absolutely adored this, especially Aabria's DMing. Griffin's face when it became clear what was going to happen to the sword was perfect

Seeing Clint do this into a camera is so so so so so so so so so much more endearing. My heart is crumbling into a teeny tiny black hole.

Deciding to watch the first few minutes on a break from work was a poor idea. The musical cues, the narrative storytelling, the lady of fate, it all feels so right and I can tell Aabria is gonna knock it out of the park. The tears are already flowing just from the joy of more story in this campaign. I can't work now, I've ruined myself!

Coming off Exandria Unlimited, I really admire Aabria's breadth and how well she adapts to the McElroys' style of humor. "I'm very close to doin' a fight about it" sounds like a McElroy-ism.

Clint continues to be the best Edit: Out of everything insulting Taako has ever said throughout all the fucking episodes and one-shots, "I ordered Thai" has to be the one that just burns the most.

Seeing everyone enjoy playing together so much fills me with such deep joy, I love getting to see their faces and reactions to everyone, all the little shifts and smiles and eye sparkles we wouldn’t be able to hear.

"I'll get sazed to help cook" has me ROLLING

I did not realize how much I missed the Tres Horny boys and Griffen! When Justin used his Taako voice I was filled with immense joy.

I can literally only imagine Susan as like a Edna mode type character and now all I see is Taako and Edna death staring each other across a wine mutton pad Thai dinner with kravitz stuck in the middle and I am In Tears Out of all characters, taako absolutely would develop a rivalry with Edna mode

Griffin's eyes as the FRPSoD got broken 😂

FRPSoD: *disintegrates* Griffin: _”That’s a human person~”_

In one of the live shows they found out that it was a king who had been transformed into the FRPSoD. Can you imagine what he must have went through with the time magic? He gave away everything to help the boys vanquish evil. After 10 years of infrequent but good use, he loses his connection to the world. He doesn't know what's going on. Years turn into decades turn into centuries as he struggles to stay sane to hopefully be returned to service. To make his sacrifices of his home, wife, and kingdom for the greater good hopefully worthwhile. It's been a millenia now. Is his wife okay? The people he was responsible for safeguarding? All is lost to the void of time and this unseeing unfeeling half life. Finally, he can go on no more, and the last tiny fraction of his soul that was powering the sword's many enchantments fades, and the sword quickly decays. He knows true oblivion at last. Magnus, seeing the blade turned to dust says: "oh nards"

This is the year of Iyengar! After seeing her dm for dimension 20 and critical role I don't think it's every been more clear that she emulates the house DM/world while also bringing her own style. Her use of McElroy slang, Griffin's DM technique, and flow with the boys really shows that she did her homework. I'm amazed at how well they're all combining call backs with plot. I was afraid it would feel stiff or forced, but it feels delightfully smooth and well put together. Very excited for episode 2! I missed these guys.

Aabria and the McElroys are a really good fit, I think. I love Aabria but I was a little afraid the crossover would feel forced. I'm 10 minutes in and this is amazing, I was totally wrong :)

I feel like Davenport being this chaotic is a bit out of character but honestly it's so entertaining and so amazing to see griffin properly play davenport that nothing else matters
