Even though she was absolutely smitten, I imagine she/they both would have been nervous. Maybe the possibility of him being a future husband she didn't want to be completely agreeable about everything. To let him know she had her own preferences.

@@ceilconstante640 i think that happens after the wedding, before the wedding victoria literally married him sooner than anyone anticipated ( because it was kinda an arranged marriage) cause she fell over heel in love with him. i forgot how long but their uncle thought he can get them to marry within 2 months but they ended up married within 1 month.

King Leopold their uncle predicted he could get them to marry in 3 months or more,, only to be surprised when Victoria want to get married to Albert in less than a month or something along those lines. "The couple first met at Victoria's 17th birthday in April 1836 when she was heir to the British throne. The cousins were introduced by their uncle, Leopold I (1790 - 1865), King of the Belgians. In their memoirs, both Albert and Victoria record that they almost instantly fell in love. After Victoria acceded to the throne in 1837, tradition dictated that no one could propose to a reigning monarch. Therefore, Victoria proposed to Albert - she proposed during his second visit in October 1839 at Windsor Castle in Berkshire. " she propose on his second visit to England. also Victoria was tiny, while they casted a large actress even almost taller than Albert

Bro look at the way in the end he says good ...........as Victoria is now talking.

The role reversal where a woman gets to choose a partner and how uncomfortable the partner is. Victoria and Elizabeth both loved their counterparts but their counterparts weren't enamoured by them. Albert in his later life but certainly not Phillip. Phillip had his fair share of mistresses.

Philip pretty much abandoned all the women he saw for Lizzie. He wasn't dumb. And this was before he lost his kingdom.

I don’t get this. It looks here like Victoria towers over Albert, when in actuality she was quite short, around 5 feet tall. They should’ve gotten a shorter Victoria or a taller Albert!

Emily blunt isn’t taller than Rupert friend. She is walking on a higher step I think. I don’t get it eigher. But I saw the movie long ago. It’s not like that in other scenes.

it's artistic license. Victoria needs to be at least equal height to Albert as a symbol that she is at least equal to him.

I can’t figure out why on earth is this 30+ woman playing a child under 18yrs old. Was there a shortage of teen white/British actresses? Whoever is in charge of casting has serious issues getting grown ups to play kids when the viewers can clearly see they look as old as or older than the parents! This is extremely hard to take a movie seriously when adults are trying to be children and simply cannot pass! Just stop and cast actual kids already!

the brother actually looked like ernest kinda look like their father too.
