Thanks for sharing. I have been waiting for my DS400 to install in my car. I have been usign the Bluetooth AptX connection, using my DSP in my car. I cannot imagine how the sound would be improved with this DAC, I'm using a Sony Walkman WM1AM2. I will use optical connection to my DSP. Very useful video, thanks again!

@@pixxtratus If you’re talking about the FiiO M17 it’s the same cable to charge it’s battery and once it’s charged it runs off the battery just like an iPhone or Android phone. It also has a DC power cord which you might be referring to.
Can a phone not power this device?
Can you use the apple usb-c to lightning cable with the iphone? Or necessary for the camera adapter?

You only get bit perfect audio when using the camera adapter with an iPhone and you also only get the Hi Res when using the camera adapter. So I never bother with a lightning to usb c cable

It’s kind of two different products as this has an amp and the Topping d10s doesn’t. If you don’t need an amp for headphones etc.. then I personally would go with the the Topping.
