The one tv series that truly marked my childhood in the 90’s! Gillian and Dave’s acting were out of this world. Funny thing is that I never bonded with the comeback in 2016, because they would never be able to capture the atmosphere or image graininess/sound so typical of those times.

I knew it was going to be a hit because it had to be because sci-fi/horror/fantasy TV shows, before this series, were one and done and/or destined to be cult favorites. The X-Files took itself and its audience seriously. Without it, Buffy, Supernatural, Lost, Game Of Thrones, Westworld wouldn't have existed.

I really miss this show. There has been nothing like it since. Many cheap copies but nothing like the original. I wish they would bring it back.

Gawd I love how videocameras worked in the 90s... PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE OF FOCUSING ON THE FOREGROUND SUBJECT BEING INTERVIEWED... The wall? Perfect! Tack focus! Every single nook and cranny in sharp relief... the person being interviewed? Can't even tell where their pupils start and their eyebrows end!

I wonder if the feds was a consultant on the show
