I don't understand why Niall didnt get more solos he sounded lke an angel in this..

Fr those of u who were confused the mistake Simon was referring to with 1D was at 7:10 when Niall got slightly off pace and slowed down when he should have been speeding up. You can very quickly see Liam waving his hand in an upward motion telling him that the big "ohh" was coming. So daddy Liam to the rescue :) 😍✨

It's alomost impossible not to smile after at 1D after their performance!

No it's not it's sad to think about every one gets a little solo eksakt for Louis and Harry, but Harry gets some solos letter but Louis did never really have a solo at the x factor :c

people start to realize that eventually, even though a boyband and X Factor alum stigmas are so hard to break. But they do start to appreciate the boys. The longer they don't reunite, the better is the GPs attitude to them, new huge artists cite them as inspirations and call themselves directioners. They're almost classic by now, and each of the boy's music (including Zayn's even he doesn't want it) is the best ambassador for 1D stuff. Life is good. And your wish came true

but he was heard so well in the chorus, I didn't hear Harry that much there, mostly Louis and Zayn. But you're right, he deserved solos in X Factor shows, the he XF tour proved it, he was amazing from the very beginning.

what are you talking about? He's the one I hear in the chorus, it goes him then Zayn and I almost don't hear Harry at all. And it's all postproduced for TVm I'm sure people in the audience heard him even better. People talking about how Louis was put on the backgrownd, ask him first, did he want to have any solo parts? I'm sure it was deliberate, he was too shy at the beginning to step up. He got rid of it by the end of the show and on XF tour he shone. And I don't even talk about their original works, he's done the biggest contribution to the band's sound, because everybody remembers chorus and he carried most of those.

okay please do not kill me. i ADORE one direction. my room is covered in posters and i have t shirts and all their albums, etc etc. but HOW did they get so far in the contest? i really dont think they sounded that great in the start, haha. once they got older they got a LOT better, dont get me wrong.

Well, it was voted by audience and they were very popular straight away. They were charming on screen and won over everyone's heart, not just teen girls's, those were just the most dedicated audience who turned to a fanbase. 1D boys reportedly were the life of the season for all behind the scenes people, so they were never put in bad light, purposely or by accident, the crew genuinely cared about them I guess)) Besides, they might not have shown huge talent from the very beginning but they proved to be hardworking and determined and frankly that's way more important than natural talent which they also have. They were getting better each week, they learnt and synced really quick cuz they must be practicing for hours daily. You don't see it in their profile videos but you see signs of it. If you watched their full X Factory Story (all 1D related vids compiled by YT channel named "Julia Keating") you'll see how they looked sleepy and tired in all the videos, they worked like crazy from the very start, it's just their norm I guess. And it payed off, cuz they couldn't even make a band harmony a week before 1 live show but on 4th week they talked and sang in harmony without even trying. And it was just a show coach, they hired the best people for them afterwards and each artist still develops, even after 11 years since career start. It's a constant hard work and regime if you want your vocals to be in shape and have long life. I don't think Simon saw it from the very beginning. He just saw the cute faces and it was a quick money opportunity. I'm sure he didn't expect these cheeky boys to be so focused and ambitious to be at the very top of the world charts, he's no that astute, otherwise he'd have much much more successfull artists like 1D and artists wouldn't leave his label as soon as they can. He was just lucky he had them cuz they'd be huge without his "help" imo.
