The Worst Year for Volcanic Disasters
In a 12-month timespan during the 20th century, 4 deadly volcanic eruptions occurred. In a specific year, population centers were wiped out on the island of Martinique and the island of Saint Vincent in the Caribbean, near the Santa Maria volcano in Guatemala, and an isolated island volcano offshore of the Japanese mainland. #short #shorts #volcano

The microphone issue will be fixed by Sunday’s video. I played around with settings, and was able to fix the pop issues along with the echo.
Great as always. I found Santa Maria's eruption to be interesting, because during the very peak of the eruption, red arcs were seen above the volcano. Must have been terrifying and awesome at the same time!

Santa Maria was actually the third largest eruption of the 20th century, as Pinatubo was slightly larger.
Keep up the good work.
I don't understand why people live in small islands with active volcanoes and when an eruption happens, they have nowhere to run to.
i love the outback tin shed sound bahhaha
Thank you for this informative video! Freaky!
and tambora still killed more people then all of them combined
Wait ...
Dam and even novorupta as well in that year, or was that in 1912?
Let's hope AquaTerra doesn't eat too much Eggs and Beans again!
can you link to resources that lowered the tephra output of Tambora to 110 KM3? Previously on your channel, you've had 150
My Moms Grandma spoke about a time when she was a girl when rivers flowed the wrong way. Animals were actually jumping into the chaotic waters and committing animal suicide! And my moms Mom wasn’t born until 1924 so 1902 seems like the best time for such things to occur!
