I always use smokes in call of duty. Throw them halfway between an enemy and you and you can get a good angle on them. They can be really helpful for any close range class and once you get used to it it’s easy to take enemies down in the smoke

It's also pretty useful in solo br when you cant find any molotov. Perfect for forcing the enemy to change position. I've done it tones of times.

Not they aren't amazing they can be effective when you pop gas and everyone is slowed in the area

The MW gas grenade is just there to piss people off on shipment tbh

Gas grenade in mw2019 is a recon tool? It's an area denial tool, like a molotov or thermite, not a recon tool like a snapshot. Also, decoys are way worse than gas.

eh. i dunno. decoys give you a lot of free xp. even better then a uav at times, since they cost nothing. gas is more of an annoyance and kinda has no use since stuns do the same but better. slow you down and disable your movement.

@@wyattreno5113 Decoys were good for xp before they nerfed it, and who needs xp anyway. You get to 155 pretty quickly if you play a bit. Also decoys are not very good on larger maps. Gas is good for blocking a flank for a few seconds, since very few people walk into a gas cloud, and good against people holding angles with thermal optics since it block thermals quite a bit. So yes, I'm not saying decoys are useless, but I still think they're worse than gas grenades.

@@Fonzo125 my main thing is that gas is pretty much a worse stun. and you can easily avoid gas as long as you weren't directly in the path of it. gas isnt 100% useless by itself, just useless considering the stun exists. also, the casual players with once-a-week-log-ins or even longer between sessions might need xp. i respect what you say.

Gas grenade can be the best tactic for one life game modes because say you’re playing warzone, you pop a gas through the top window, send your teammates and easy kills because the cannot shoot

In MW the decoy grenades are good for building up easy points in a game mode like hordpoint with the pointman perk

Gas grenades are one of the most powerful tacticals in warzone when a teammate tosses one into an enemy. Gives me time to rush while the enemy is coughing and has their guard down.

The gas grenade in mw2019 is useful you can block the line with it, in the hardpoint mode its awsome, little trick: when enemy is popped smoke grenade and they using thermal optic you can block them with gas grenade they cant see through the gas

For mw 2019 how bout the decoy grenade?

In hardcore the thermo grenades in ghosts were pretty good. It was a wide area of effect so it was good in hardcore

The sensor grenade came in clutch for me so many times in S&D. Threw it in the bomb room before entering to find which corner he was hiding in.

I have to disagree with the cod ghost one. I think it was the 9 bang. Too long to prime and it was really week. Super short range and I never used it. The thermo on the other hand was amazing in hard-core. If you had a grenade and 2 thermos you basically had 3 lethals

The worst throwable is actually the C4 in modern warfare 2019 now, there is almost no throw range and the time to explode was extended

Is the issue on a thermal sight not being in mw4 or the smoke grenade ? Cause the smoke is apparently doing the job it’s made for and is really OP

@Chaos The gas grenade is AMAZING in Cranked. Throw and forget, area denial, and slows down bunnyhopping assholes from jumping, sliding or shooting. Or reloading.

Ghost: therma were so op, in hardcore. That thing was a one hit no matter what and acted as extra explosives

I honestly completely agree with smokes for infinite warfare. In a game where you can literally jetpack way higher than the smoke reaches and where there is literally an attachment that can go on just about every sniper that let's you see emenies through smoke and isn't even hard to get yeah I'd much rather a throw able can of Busch's baked beans.
