couple of tips for anyone who will read them: 1) unless the suspects gun comes up towards SWAT or a civie, it will get marked as excessive force when they get shot 2) the person who knocked open the door by any means (kicking, detonating the c2 charge, breaching hammer) NEVER enters first, this provides them with time to get their gun back up and ready 3) when a suspect is practically pressed against the other side of the door, you can kick the door open to momentarily stun them 4) suspects dont always make their intentions clear, this includes false surrenders, not having their gun out and visible until they notice SWAT, or even drawing a knife when you go to arrest them 5) theres always time to peek the door then kick/open it, since you can still interact with the door while its open (at least more than just closing it) this helps to prevent you from smearing into the door and leaving your gun at low ready instead of keeping it up
