Blake explained Sorcerer Class wrong. It deals dmg to each opponent equal to the number of instant and sorcery spells you’ve cast this turn. Not the spells converted mana cost

Watching Blake's face when he realized CGB was gonna kill him truly resonated with me. Whip of Erebos absolutely won that game in a great way. Lot of fun.

I have the feeling that being manascrewed in a game of Commander with friends just increases your chance of winning, as you see in this match. Everyone just doesn't want to do something to you until it is too late This sems like such a chill group to play with. Hope there is plant more of the same.

It really depends if you play against an aggro player or not. In my experience the aggro player always takes out the Mana screwed / flooded player first.

I love this group! CGB lookin like the guy that writes fan subs for anime, Ben looks like the hero's loyal barbarian companion in an 80s sword and sorcery flick, Shea be lookin like she just finished hangin with Beetlejuice, and Blake is a manager at Wendy's.

shea is rookie of the year for this deck, what a god taking out the 1 in best of one, outlasted the durdle and hit harder than any other player. whipping the competition into submission all while missing mana drops. cant say ive seen a better commander game than this in awhile. awesome game grats shea

ha! i just made the humble suggestion the other day under your standard vs alchemy thing that whatever happens to that endless debate, some more commander content would be amazing to witness on this channel and voilá! :) when you said in the beginning that you'll introduce "these characters", you were totally spot on! finally a channel that doesnt wanna look pro and op, just brings a perfect linup of unique personalities who play the game for what it is, an honest display of friendship and fun, taking all the misplays and unfortunate threat assessment with a smile! and yes you are all very attractive humans but Shea wins that competition, too! congrats all, and thanks for the game as a viewer as well :)

Awesome! Great fun. Buy 4 lav mikes and a multichannel board. You can do that for 100-150$. It will add 10 minutes to the production and we can hear all the lovely snark.

CGB commander magic is awesome, please make more of these videos cause you guys are cool. Congrats to Shea for owning the board and showing the blue mages there, that they are not as cool as they think. Big shout out to Shea for showing me Whip of Erebos for the first time. Its neat to see the lifelink synergy really shine against decks with tutors, mana crypt, and other expensive cards. Really well played, cant wait to see you on the next one to defend your title as champion of the cool kids club

This was such a fun game to watch. I thought everyone had a chance at one time or another to pull off the victory (except CGB maybe :)) The combo with Doom Whisperer was my favourite play of the game. Congrats to Shea on your win. I normally don't enjoy these live action commander videos, but I found this riveting entertainment! It was 30 minutes in before I even realized I was bopping along to a background music track, I cracked up several times at comments (and the editors witty touches!) and I think my favorite moment was when Blake basically said "I'll let you do something really fun, as long as you hit Ben instead of me" :D

Been catching up on a lot of the episodes I haven't seen and the montage edit is priceless. absolutely love it

This is a really refreshing concept. Seeing a few friends meeting IRL to enjoy a funny game and having fun, bargaining, betraying eachother and betting on who would pop off first is truly entertaining. This is what the game should be all about: wild effects, plot twists, good time with nice people. Thanks a lot.

So impressed that Shea kept her point value HIGH ENOUGH to that her green/BLACK WAVE could overcome some BAD VIBES in the first few turns to pour some CGBLOOD IN THE CUT for the win to proudly represent for K.Flay

Good game! And awesome victory to Shea and Mr. Tentacles. Great card and much more important great card to learn with for as she so wonderfully displayed the flying and trample and beef of Mr. Tenacles, our favorite Doom Whisper, is secondary which is kinda nuts but the surveil is what makes that card so spicy. The whip effect and use combination with double counters and commander for a monster attack was brilliant, for every Magic player yearns for that over the top moments, more so when your ,if gain and damage is double the life loss! Hope to see more games and more Shea, the facial expressions were delightful and oh snap deliciously evil grin just set the stage. Happy gaming folks! Be cool 😎

Love the new paper magic content! Keep it coming! I love how Ben can be so lost while playing a deck so threatening and how the control mages wanted to battle it all, but life gain rose from the graveyard and Shae did a massacre with the whip!

Prior to the first Cyclonic rift I was going to say that Shea's seat was cursed. MTG Nerd Girl had the vampire deck with no vampires and Shea had no lands. Then she had the amazing come back and bang bang bang. Nice Game. Loved it and would love to see more of these games

Right away, I just LOVE that rule 0. I'm absolutely going to motion for it in ever commander game I play from now on. - It's an icebreaker for tables where players don't know eachother; - It's a positive handicap because it helps all players assess threats better, but especially novice ones; - It's a tasty sample of the "knowing the meta" experience of other formats. Just genius. Did you come up with it?

Glad to see this! I know its early for this but just wanted to point out that the overhead view from an editing standpoint feels like it's rotated upside down, GCBs mat should be top left. took me a few turn rotations to realize what was going on. Hope to see more of this was very fun!

Hey I know I'm late to the party, but great content! This is one of the most true to form EDH channels I've seen in a long time, I really appreciate the low-level edition of the video. I'm kinda tired of overedited channels where visuals are more important than substance - and you lot are great at substance! Great talking and jokes overall! Love it! Also just as a side note - @36:10 when Blake copied Thrill of Possibility with Double Vision, the "discard a card" from Thrill is an additional cost, so you don't pay it again for the copy!

Love that you show the card up for a few seconds. Love when commander shows do this ngl and if they do do it, it's incredibly quick. Idk for some reason, this show has more clarity in that regard.

Hey I know I'm way late but with Mizzix Mastery you have to pay additional costs. the ruling for the card is "If you cast a spell "without paying its mana cost," you can't pay any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs, such as kicker costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, you must pay those." so when you play things that have you discard a card to cast you have to discard a card or not cast it.
