I feel like this series can be summed up as Blake goes crazy, CGB saves the table and Shea steals the victory. Ben is also there.

I feel like Ben really came out of his shell since the first game. Way more communicative! Love his dry sence of humour :D

**SPOILER FREE** I love how you guys have the same cast in each episode. The continuity allows us (The Fans) to follow the rivalries that have developed, and tenancies of each of your play styles. Great series, and this was the best episode yet!!!

The cascade when he casted soul of the harvest was a miss play… Cascade only cast spell with less mana value than the one that triggered the cascade…

More than just that: Imoti’s ability applies further to spells you cascade into so long as they are CMC 6+, so the Kona would have triggered an additional cascade. That being said, Imoti is a stack-heavy deck and it’s a lot going on atop producing content so I don’t blame them

I feel like Blake always goes on the same journey: Starts off strong, starts steamrolling, gets overconfident and tells the rest of the player how strong he is getting, engages in a war with CGB, gets focused by everyone and dies the first player :( I guess the moral here is that you shouldn't look too threatening to your opponents in Commander or otherwise you'll drown in focus

Yes, he seems to enjoy reminding each of the players at the beginning of their turn that he's going to kill them, which baits reactions from them that they otherwise might not do. Alternatively, CGB seems to play up the deadliness of everyone else's threats as a way to distract from his own, even when he's in a strong position.

When sakashima's protege came into play he could not have copied galta because galta did not come into play that turn.

So, even IF Ghalta had entered that turn, they'd still have to sacrifice one of them to the Legend rule.

Top notch editing, addressing a lot of the issues with viewing this most fun aspects of commander and makes it accessible to non-Revised players such as myself. Love this series. Great work Lantern! Cheers!

Loved the game, and the production also! The "tilting" sway of the camera as CGB scooped up his board to Bane of Progress was a nice touch.

@@reachingvalhalla5096 that doesn’t mean they actually bought the cards though, They play 4 different decks every week, thats close to 8,000 dollars a month if each deck is purchased from scratch and costs around 500 dollars, it’s way better from a business perspective to borrow the product from the store, especially since Gaia’s cradle and volcanic island are each like 800 dollars. I don’t doubt he owns his own copies, and maybe he’s using it, but it’s much more likely that they give the store their deck lists and borrow them.

@@JStack I mean I have my favorite deck blinged out in every foil or full art I could get my hands on. I just highly doubt that they buy every card for every deck every week

Noticed that Blake usually gets the best board first and gets shut down or K.O.-ed cuz of that 😄 Ben is just there chilling playing peacefully and gets attacked whenever there's empty board, people know he's only one who won't take it personally 😁 and everyone just ignoring Shae until she becomes too big of a threat and a too much to handle. And then there's CGB who I'm secretly hoping to win always 😁. Really enjoyed this and all previous commander battles reminds me of time me and my friends played, keep it up!

The "oh wait that actually is 20 counters" when CGB suggested switching dice to d20s got me lmao

It took me three of these to understand why you were calling it the “worst possible…” but please don’t stop making them. They’re really fun to watch. Big ups to the editors for those subtle touches. :)

Imoti is pretty hard to pilot as there is so many triggers to account for so fast. Good job! Was cool seeing her do her thing. Very cool match guys :D Everybody did a lot! The one turn with Heartbeat of Spring: - Koma (7 cmc) would've cascaded too. - Soul of the Harvest (6 cmc) couldn't have cascaded from Sakashima's Protege (6 cmc). - Sakashima's Protege couldn't come in as a copy of Ghalta; Ghalta did not enter that turn and if it would've, then you'd have to sac one of the 2 due to the legendary rule.

I really enjoy this commander series...nice to sit back and watch people play magic with friends.

Really loving this show and seeing CGB playing the format I enjoy the most. The rest of the cast are great too. Keep it up folks!

The level of misplay with Imoti hurt my soul. Cascading a 6 cmc into another 6 cmc, forgetting that spells cast off cascade are in fact cast and thus trigger imoti(Koma), making Sakashima's protege a copy of a Ghalta(which would kill it from legend rule) and also not reading Protege to see it says it enters as a copy of a creature that ETB'd that turn. It burns.

yeaaa plus all the card draw misses/mistakes ... Butt the most painful was the lack of imoti dances when hitting a cascade chain. Just "hey camera crew look look clip these 20 flubs I'm making !".. All in good fun tho np get em nextime 👍 stack is complicated for new players

Not even two minutes into the show and CGB is showing his perviness. This has got to be a good show.

Poor Blake. I can see his heart whither immediately after he pops off with an extinction level board presence, then follows it with "How do I survive until next turn..."

I think it was a misplay! They’re hard to avoid in long commander games.

Very nice game and not even gaining 100 life stoped the vampires. The game had to end though, or they would have run out of dice to keep track of those counters.

45:45 Sakshima’s whatchamacallit can’t enter and stay as a Ghalta, for several reasons. Ghalta is Legendary, and also didn’t enter this turn.

I think that Bane turn the only legal target for Sakashima's Protege would of been Soul of the Harvest, Galta entered the turn before(aside from being legendary). He even read the card, the target had to of entered before it that turn....

Think you missed a few cascade triggers; since stuff that was cast off of another cascade trigger should still cascade again if it is still 6 or more - e.g. the koma

I go through such an emotional rollercoaster watching these videos. Blake, you've been pulling out crazy tricks since episode one. CGB, man do I wanna see you pop off! Same for Ben. And congratz on your second (i think?) win Shea, but as someone who shares CGB's hatred for aggro, I'm a little tilted. I don't even own paper magic, but i'ma go buy a couple fog cards off amazon to calm down.

Shae was quietly cackling while Ben for no reason attacked a defenseless cgb.

Shae is rocking Mardu again, maybe she'll go Zurgo Helmsmasher next time and use worldslayer to make no one have any fun lol
