Memo politicked it really well tbf. "Value ad naus" "If it's threatening, dylan will silence me" "I'm probably not even winning" Also, if Dylan did use his silence, Cam would have won almost certainly, so I don't think he or Nate punted.

@@jakemaxwell3810This was whack politics lol, it’s like the 101 of what not to trust from players. Value Naus isn’t real, especially with around twenty damage on board. The Naus was heavily telegraphed and no words can hide that it was for a win attempt. To be fair Cam was drowning them all in card advantage but letting Naus resolve for Memo’s reasons was silly. All that being said if anyone but Cam countered the Naus (which I know they didn’t have but still) it would basically be king making Cam into a free win, which is also pretty lame/unfun.

​@@damo9961 Yeah Cam was in such a commanding position there, sure the mana cost of the Pact hurts but he just gets to draw so many freaking cards with a tivit in play and a bunch of free interaction still in his deck, plus the aetherflux so he never dies to the Ring + beats.

Seeing Spinelli as Najeela is something I never would've thought. 😂

i'm happy WotC put the Grand Abolisher effect on a legendary that doesn't have BLUE. FYI; Myrel, Shield of Argive is about $30 Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar is about $1 Grand Abolisher is about $7 (Reprinted in Thunder Junction)

The Sisay list I have (as built by RiledUpWhiteKid on Moxfield) contains a Kutzil. It's pretty whack in there since I can just tutor it directly to the board without needing to announce the specific card.

Why did the table let the Dockside resolve knowing thats 30 treasures would be created? That was the biggest mistake imo.

Yup. Letting end step ad Naus resolve was a mistake, but that was the last good interaction point for them.

I feel like keeping fish and not casting Atraxa was the play. Ad Naus was obvious from Memo and Cam was planning to win on his turn anyways. Keep up more mana and draw for the storm that was coming. Sometimes I want to cast Atraxa when I have the mana but it’s often times the window for people to go for it when you tap out/low

Great game! What an unreal set of events. Sure Memo drew a lot of cards from the remora and they were the right cards at the right time, the fact it was answer after answer after answer was still pretty wild.

Great episode and lesson from it. Love to see a budget episode down the pipe line.

Played atraxa food chain last night in a cedh pod(borrowed the deck from someone as I’ve never played cedh before) and won. Grand abolisher lived a turn cycle into atraxa then food chain into misthollow griffin into win

Regardless of the play itself…Curie is a surprisingly good mono-Blue deck. A bunch of good blue cards, win conditions, a mono mana base, then add a cheap commander that can just explode in the early turns. Turns out that’s pretty good.

So most clone effects do not specifically say “target”, which means they are not affected by Ward, Shroud, Hexproof, or anything that prevents targeting. You simply choose a creature or artifact in play and Metamorph enters as a copy of it.

Is that Mana Crypt Dylan is using a alter? Or weird promo? Never seen that before.

I don't feel like adnaseum was necessarily where interaction was needed since it does put him in a losing state if he doesn't win. You just needed to interact Before the remora.

If I'm reading this correctly "701.32d If an effect gives a player multiple votes, those votes all happen at the same time the player would otherwise have voted." Means that if you have multiple votes, you MUST use them all. There is no partial voting.

tivit says you MAY vote an additional time. That ruling just means that if the tivit player does vote an additional time, the votes happen at the same time.
