At first I think they're excited about the food but then they got defensive since the owner was too close to their food Edit: I do not condone wild animals being kept as pets, all I meant to say is that animals often express emotions in way that seem contradictory to humans. I work with African Caracals, while it may not be illegal to own in THIS person’s state. It’s a shame to see this owner keeping this NON-DOMESTIC wild animal IN the home (has a collar 👀) and def looks out of shape… (not getting outdoors much if at all…) We call these “CLOUT PETS” smh

Caracals don’t meow, I have one. The only way they express themselves are through what we consider “growling” and hissing. But unlike other breeds of cat, this one in particular has different forms of hiss, while other cats hiss means they’re warning you, the floppas hiss can be hiss of excitement

As a kid we sometimes had litters of kittens. If a kitten got a piece of meat to eat, it would growl at anyone or anything that came near as it chewed: "rrrng rrrng rrrng" in this tiny squeaky voice. It was the cutest thing. Pumba would be cute too if he wasn't so grown up and terrifying.

Fun fact: the hissing the cat is making is it actually saying thank you, but it just can’t meow.😊

I feel like when pet owners named their animals princess or cupcake, even though they're like wild animals, but they don't even care. They're just gonna name it like a cute name 😂

And then you see a normal house-cat dilly-dallying towards its protector with confidence

Any pet where you have to throw the bowl down to avoid getting your arm mistaken as dinner, is definitely not a pet. Edit: I was not expecting hilarity to ensue. Congrats on being hilarious. Absolute chaos. 😂
