And that quality is unmatched greatness 😎
Just to put it into perspective and give a bit of context: This was released in 2003 (same year as Fallen, Meteora, Deftones self titled and other great albums). The band didn’t have guitarist Wes Borland on this album and had lost their replacement guitarist Mike Smith (formerly of Snot). The album would also scrap a bunch of tracks since Mike left and one of those tracks was a song they premiered back in March and planned as a lead single called “Crack Addict”.

Wes Borland and Sam Rivers are the soul of the band. The reason so many people back up this band so much is that sans Fred, the music is insanely tight. It's one of the bands that made me pick up guitar growing up. And without that, there's nothing to grab onto. Never cared for this album other than the sentimental fact that my very first girlfriend gave me it as a Christmas gift when it came out. I met Limp Bizkit after a show in Baltimore 8 years ago, and the only dude to hang with me? Wes. I'm happy that he's around.

Wes borland, their legendary guitarist returned for their next release, the unquestionable truth, pt.1. It’s a pretty fiery and short explosion of heated political energy like ratm but still has the LB style. And no meh fred singing until the end. Anyways LB first 2 albums goated, stream Slipknot’s Iowa, love ya brad!
I think "eat you alive" is a fair track. I like how it intentionally expresses that perverted creep vibe. Though, the lyrics are quite shallow, as with anything else Fred writes. The songs on this album aren't terrible, but overall, it's very bland and it has too many slow tracks, with no emotional weight to carry them. Fred's lyric writing is very shallow and amateur, and his singing voice isn't great for such slow songs. However, the album has some great riffs and good moments here and there. Can't say anything bad about the production. Sounds raw. I like it.
