Unless the klown team works very well together and develops a strategy where the two others act as beaters, making the survivors run right where the tank is going to ambush them. It's a matter of playing cards right.

A funny trick is that the tank is faster while carrying a cocoon than he is while walking normally. So having an emotional support cocoon can actually beef up your speed.

Because Tank has the best Sense, it is the best Klown for ambushes. You'll see them coming much further away than they might see you. My favorite combo is Mallet, Gigaray, Pizzabox on Tank. It lets you hide around a corner as a Human runs up to do an objective, only to get smacked by your fully charged Mallet and downed in seconds. Or to hide directly on the objective disguised as a Pizza, and if they try to fight back, they're not gonna have an easy time due to you being, well, a tank.

People forget that movespeed is everything. Move speed is an offensive stat like strength because it lets you chase down people and get hits more often. Move speed is an info stat like sense because it means you travel to areas you need to check faster (even with teleports you still need to walk around a lot), it also lets you capitalise on the info you get more effectively. Move speed is a defensive stat like health because it means you can kite and dodge better or retreat if you are badly outnumbered. Slow characters need some kind of huge benefit to make up for a loss of move speed. You see this in a lot of other video games too where slow characters are typically bad even if they hit really hard or have a lot of health it doesn't matter because good movement does a bit of everything.

Exactly this😄 he has high strength but is incapable of benefiting from the trait at all because he can’t even get close to humans to hit them. Humans just run away every time they see me. Movement speed is quite literally the key base stat (which you emphasised perfectly). He either needs more to compete with other klowns, or he needs another big benefit that can really help the team out 🙂

The one main complaint I have is that the classes have to be gradually unlocked. I think having to wait 50lvls to play a certain class is a bit insane.

The thing is he’s designed to receive more damage and dish out harder hits with high strength. You don’t get close enough to even use your strength trait, and humans can just run when they see you and you’ll NEVER catch them. Happens every time

As a Human.. I had a pistol glitch on me. Full ammo and it wouldn't shoot. Didn't even show the gun. Showed my players hand all deformed.

The Tank is slow because he's strong, his strength is his strength, remember that if you can. Since he is slow, you're not going to play him like the other classes, you will not chase with him. You will be ambushing instead, let them run into you. Sneak up on them with the pizza box. Use the lure if you are seen too early. You need to play to his strengths or you are always going to lose and it will be your fault entirely. Use your brain.

I was thinking about something. We can't give him mobility, so why not give him a lasso made of licorice that's only for him. That way, he can bring people to him, without making him able to move faster.

One thing you can do for survivors on a boat is use your lure if it’s available. Using it will bring them off the boat!

If I remember right, the end of the movies showed a whole society of clowns. Hope there will be more.

I feel he’s decent. His secondary has a short range but it comes clutch when you have a human pushing you, just gotta keep some distance. Also if you can use the jump and your 3rd ability wisely you pretty much can catch up to teammates or humans quickly. Now w the bounce caster even better.

He'll be better if you focus more on teamwork. It's that simple, use senses so you can use coms to tell the fast clowns where they are. Getting good at crazy shots with that grenade launcher is vital if you're trying to be a sweat. Lean into his strengths and you'll find yourself catching more peeps, especially if your teammates have a brain and tell you where to go to ambush you can get crazy surprise kills. He's slow, but your teammates can make up for it unless you're socially dysfunctional and need to get every kill yourself and aren't even worried about teammates. Then you're in for a bad game and you should just play a character that doesn't need teammates to get a kill or two.

idk how this game works at all but maybe just making him really stealthy as well would be funny

Tank should get a much higher stamina level than the other Klowns so that he can maintain his sprint, since it will remain much slower than the others. It could even regenerate a little slower if needed.

Just unlocked him and I can bet he isn't the worst. It depends on how you use him.

im kinda annoyed at players for exploiting this bug but humans if killed or cocooned they can disconnect and join a new match and its usually the same match :/ seen players in your lobby dc'ing then seeing the human number go up again after too.. Also the bouncecaster cant candy objectives unless there is abit of candy already for some weird reason so if another klowns uses a raygun to 1% you can bouncecaster it and quickly fill to 100%

Despite Being The Slowest Klown In The Game. Chubby's Gobstopper Flail Is Really Good. Not On Him Tho Since He's Very Slow. But Using It On A Klown With Alot Of Stamina(Like Spikey Or Rudy) Is Very Good Cause You Only Need To Hit Someone 6 Times With It To Down Them(And It Hits Them 3 Times If You Keep Holding The Attack Button). So Using It On A Klown With Alot Of Stamina Makes It Pretty Good Cause They Can Still Hit Humans Who Are Running Away From Them With It(If In It's Range That Is)

I like both but my friends are all playing killer klowns right now, I think killer klowns has more of a goofy casual party game feel that I quite enjoy but once hands is out I'm sure all my friends will be playing that. Killer klowns has had a smother launch too IMO even with the amount of bugs!

You'd be suprised i've been apart of human killer squads with 5 ppl coordinating and theyre all randoms Its really crazy. Teamwork is literally everything in this game.

Well yes he´s indeed the slowest Klown of them, but the strongest one and more a brawler (fighter), what´s only funny is that when he carry a cocoon he can walk very fast. And now that they nerfed the Bouncecaster gun got nerfed the question is which gun is the best now for him?, about the boat yes when the human are on it they are invincible but if you use the hypnotic lure ability then you can pull them out of it especially you should aim for the driver. About the Klown car the only thing what I dislike about it is, if you crash into something it will disappear or get destroyed.

Worst klown...? Hmm... Agree to disagree, im sure the right strategies will power up this big guy. (I'm saying this before the video because of what the title says, im sure you got a nice build going.) Edit: yep, looking good so far, bounce caster was definitely a good idea!

The problem is with that theory is that as soon as you do reveal yourself after ambushing someone, they can sprint off and you’ll never catch them. Good humans will always have sharp weapons and at least 1 stamina item (mainly drink). It’s not about playstyle in this case, he’s just not very good currently. I’m sure that will change though

Why you need to hit every shot and it overheats fast just run left to right and you won’t get hit

honestly wish they stuck to the original vision of the game or at least some aspects of it. the mismatching of klowns and their abilities/weapons just makes playing the weaker ones feel like a self nerf. humans and klowns were separated into classes and each had their own unique abilities/features and unique weapons. like the “tough” stats for humans used to be “the biker” class. you could carry two heavy weapons instead of 1 as a biker, with the cost of making more noise

@@spankyjeffro5320 what a crazy response to such a normal comment. im having fun with this game, in fact im enjoying even the games i lose, especially if i can get a clown kill or kill a couple humans. i’ve played dead by daylight for years, so this was definitely a breath of fresh air where i didn’t have to try as hard. don’t try to assume anything and be a cunt for no reason because YOU are having a shitty day. there factually WERE stronger weapons at the time of my comment, which is why 90% of people used the bouncecaster/popcorn bazooka. they’ve evened the weapons out a bit now, but that STILL doesn’t take away from my point, that the original vision of the game would have had more of a unique play style. there were so many removed features that you can easily search up, which is literally what i said. but even then, i STILL said i like the way the game plays now though. learn not to be a prick moron

I think the IDEA of Tank was that he was supposed to be the counter pick to humans grouping up and ganging up on you as a Klown. Problem with that is you can kinda just... Fight them at range.

Issue is, he’s completely useless BECAUSE of his speed. He either needs a distinct benefit or more movement. I’ve played him a ton with various loadouts, and I get the same outcome. Humans see me, they run, I can’t catch them. He has innately high strength and health which are useless stats because humans run knowing they can escape and not engage him. You’ll never get to see the higher damage you deal, nor will that health ever benefit you unless you dive into 3 people, in which case you’re typically dead regardless of whether you’re a tank😅 when the developers inevitably nerf the bounce caster, it’ll become clear how weak he is imo, he won’t be played at all unfortunately.

im fine with the tanks MOVEMENT speed it does SUCK no matter what you do you can't catch up to survivors and your not fast at all!, however MS is extremely strong its the best one, and they really need to buff the tank up and give the tank more stamina! having terrible ms and terrible stamina is a extremely bad combo making the clown not fun to play at all or picked much, they just need to give the tank clown some more stamina so he can continuing running but still extremely slow. so survivors can EASILY! hide from this klown or easily get a way. eitherway give the klown more stamina it wont hurt or make this klown op having more stats! cause clearly the ms on klowns is the best! especially for a easy down cocooning them. they might even need to help this clown out with a stun resist reduce stun durations slightly or something can't be stunned as long. eitherway NO ONE will pick the tank clown even if this klown gets stun reduce durations and some more stanima in higher lvl gameplay! thats just facts cause atm Movement speed is just winning by far!.
