It can also destroy spikes, red poop, and can be bombed for a bridge across a small gap. Still pretty useless, but not enough to be on the list

The idea of losing a run because youre on hard mode and never found a heart piece after getting hit at the start of a big floor is what radicalized me on the glass shard

Sorry but I have to give this one to Lazy Mattman. His community have chosen 10 items more objectively and with a good reasoning behind them. Like, I agree with many of this items, specially Dataminer, but you can tell most people who voted doesn't trully thought objectively and was more about which items piss them off the most. I would know, cus I agree with most of them for that reason, but Cursed Eye or Glass Shard aren't weak at all for example, and is not hard to tell. Linger Bean is one of the best examples of a useless item that trully needs a buff.

@@lukasgamingl447 I understand feeling an item has a bad effect when is like Wiz, but those are more of you having a skill issue than the item being actually bad. Then there are actually terrible items like Linger Bean. That fart cloud is so stupid useless idk why is it still a thing. Then you have the random effect ones that can potentially kill your run, like Dataminer. At least with items like Wiz the effect is consistent and you can play around it

If anything there should be a classification of items between those who are bad on purpose (Dataminer and Missing No), items those are bad at what they have to do (Clicker and Jupiter), items those do seemingly nothing (Missing Page 2 and Hushy), and items those arent bad but are lacking synergies (Abyss)

Worst doesn't always mean weakest. Shard of glass and cursed eye are strong, but they're also annoying and can be tedious to use alone. They can also just ruin runs sometimes, especially shard of glass when you don't have a reliable way to recover health.

Yeah im also kinda suprised for the shard of glass. Yeah it can be dangerous in lets say delirium since the boss takes a while but the damage youll deal is very good! I dont see how its worse than bleed me dry for example.

What I find terrible about it is that it can only be stopped by red hearts, say you are fighting delirium and you accidentally get hit, this might mean the shard could run you dry of health before it runs out, leaving you with probably very very little health left to use for fights like delirium and hush

I absolutely hate it when I get hit and I lose all 6 red hearts before I can find a red heart on the floor. The bleeding damage is decent but it doesn’t synergies with anything you have, so the damage isn’t that good later in the game

Too risky. Sorry, but I have been MASSIVELY screwed over every single time I have picked it up; this game is too stingy with pickups now as is, and the small chance to spawn a heart on being hit just isn't worth the gamble to me. And even then, I'm lucky if the extra tears actually hit anything.

Counterargument: Delirious sucks worse than most of these items

Agreed, it's really easy to use. You just have to position yourself properly. The only things I still have difficulties with are lasers and brimstones from enemies, but even then, the upsides are really worth it

Yeah, with Isaac's heart you can block tears with your character and do contact damage and the wiz itself is not good but it has really good synergies. I dont really agree with this poll.

Do people still think Issac's heart is bad? It's hard to use, but right now it's a high risk, high gain item: You gain contact damage, you can use your orbitals without getting damage, free curse rooms, no creep and spikes damage and you can charge the heart to push enemies and bullets. (The only real issue are Rag mega's purple spheres, those for some reason can't be pushed and it's horrible)

In fact the tears do less than nothing because if you dare to try to get a tinted rock or secret room they push the bomb out of the way usually hitting you which does not help the draining health. Old bandage is good because it dosent FUCKING KILL YOU@@kittyratrawr

Not gonna lie, Clicker is insanly good while trying to unlock keeper. You can play as Azazel or Forgotten then click after or right before Ultra Greed death (So you can get the unlock and mark if you get a character that sucks) also, it resets the Jam chance

The wiz is something I always take due to loving the synergies it has. I completely understand why it's hated, I also hated it for years until coming to terms with its potential. Especially with Repentance, it just became a lot better in general. It being tier 0 means that it needs other items to be useful but if you get over that hurdle, it WILL win you runs.

i think if the wiz had like a way to change from normal to double shot it would be good

A really good rework for abyss can be to make it a passive item and t apolion will still start with it but when picked up it makes every item you pick up turn into the attack fly that it does except every item has a unique fly like how book of vertues has a unique wisp (some items like hp ups can or specific stats up can be grouped and have their passive effect added to the fly, like for hp us taking dmg makes the fly die and it will not attack untill you pick up a heart and stats ups can buff all the other flies but not your tears and other items like brim will have a brim fly dr fetus a bomb fly ludo a ludo fly same with bbs only friend and more) and t apolion can be reworked to have more hp (bc of the new abyss) ofc start with it but also be blinded like lilith and also start with 3 normal flies

I am honestly shocked that Broken Mirror didn't even get mentioned. Maybe its my muscle memory, but I hate that item SO much.

the poop is really unfair as it is basically a discount ladder that sometimes gives pickups, cursed eye while bad on every character is fucking incredible on lost and t lost, if you have a tractor beam or homing tears the wiz is basically 20/20 without the dmg down

Isaac's Heart is broken as hell. You get sac dagger or any other familiar that does contact damage and you just waltz through any enemy standing in your way without taking damage.

Cursed eye is really strong with the lost characters because you can't get hit so it's a big DPS up

Personally since the rework, I like isaacs heart. I still occasionally get hit cos of it, but overall now it tries to stay behind you, it saves me from more hits than it causes

Shard of flass, moms pad, the poop, cursed eye and dataminer did NOT deserve so much hate

Tbh cursed eye + black candle > mutant spider/inner eye + tractor beam imo

The wiz and shard of glass are actually good given the chance Because shard of glass for some reason acts as old bandages and spawns hearts when you are under the bleeding effect. Rig potential And the wiz can be good since it doubles your projectiles

Poop is almost a 90% chance to get so much money by the end of a run It’s a good starter for runs that involves breaking shops when your treasure rooms are trash

The Wiz is good when you have The Beam Tractor. 🗿

Abyss and the wiz was voted ? I find some results I fond strange, like no I.B.S., hour glass (a boring item that doesn't do much) Abel or Delirous. But it's nice to have a consensus. The poop is fine but a small chance to spawn all special poops at base would be nice (like it already does with some items and trinkets).

Data miner is amazing. The first time I got it. I beat mom’s heart for the very first time and then the second time I got it I beat greed mode for the first time.

Isaac's Heart is/was great for the blood machines since it didn't do damage to you
