The mysterious warrior (large red armored enemy you fight) also has this move, but only if you do it in single sword style Never mind, other comments acknowledged this

this is not a heat action, it is a greatsword-wielding-enemy specific qte

Not as bad as the heat action in 5 where if you press triangle with your back to an enemy with critical health and a takoyaki in your inventory and it plays the entire intro cutscene to Aizawa’s fight

Yeah they don’t make em as cool as the one in Yakuza 0 when you’re at 0.1% health and you catch the shark then you have to redo the Kashiwagi QTE again at twice the speed

If I recall correctly, they don't do damage when punching through their guard, however, when you finish the mashing it actually breaks their guard for a little time, so you're able to hit the boss with something else

Ok yeah but it looks badass as fuck, takes like 3 seconds, and still does a little damage on top of giving a guard break so I personally have no problem with it.

That and there's a heat action against Koshimizu where Kiryu tries to disarm him but fails.

No damage, but at least Kuroda makes a funny sound

Personally, it would have to be Shinada's Hell's Gauntlet in the Y5 remaster. It takes so much time and does so little damage that it's not worth it.

yes, Kenzan is a japan only spin-off of Yakuza set in the Edo Period

@@soyberg6763 It reached up to partway through the 19th century yes. The Edo period is generally considered to reach between 1603 and 1868 Kenzan takes place right around the beginning of the period while Ishin is at the tail end.

i was watched it while listening gangnam style (kamurocho fight theme lol) so it looks funny to me
