Lets be honest, there needs to be more rainforest cafes in the world! They have better food then any other generic restaurant chain in a neighborhood and the experience is memorable and the smell inside is fantastic! We need rainforest to stay in business because they give back to the rainforest. I do not profit or anything by these statements just that I think the restaurant is for good charity where there is a world that does not.

Rainforest and T-Rex are mainly for the ambiance. Food is secondary. Its not my go-to place but when there's kids around it becomes a must and they love it 😂

The intro totally made me laugh out loud!😂 I have such fond memories eating the China Island chicken salad with my sisters, Mom and Grammy at the mall. It was magical! Now I haven’t been in 20 years like you!!🐊🦧🥗🐠

I ate the rainforest cafe in Disney springs about 3 months ago and I got the nachos that were great 😃 and the fish and chips that were ok😊

I absolutely live for your honesty. So many bloggers at Disney love absolutely everything in there so afraid to be negative because they don't wanna lose money, etc.. That's why I like about you. You keep it honest no matter what.

When we go to places like that, we stick to the burgers and the sandwiches, sometimes the salads because when it gets into steak and things like that they’re cooked to large of quantities and the quality is rarely good.

Great idea about the Lunar New Year food festival at AK!

It’s definitely a vacation restaurant that people go for the experience. I love to go there, but have only been twice, many years ago. Our food was really good at that time. Thanks for the review! Fun!

Love seeing you two together. You guys make me smile. I'm from NJ too. I remember shopping at Menlo Park Mall when I was really little in the 1970's then they renovated it to what it is today, which I have been to as well. Never ate at the Rainforest Cafe though. Definitely has a better atmosphere then Woodbridge Mall done the street. I spent a lot of time at the Woodbrige Mall while in high school. Thank you for sharing.

Awww.😢 don't wish them out of business. The kids love all the love stuff happening and the food isn't that bad. Burger and fries is best. I think crumble cookies and Gideons are mediocre at best.

I did that at Ruth's Chris. I ordered my steak blue and it came out like a hockey puck. You'd think that a better steakhouse, especially would know the difference between more rare than rare and overly well done.

Families and kids love the rfc …. They get nuggets and love the decor…. It is an amusement ride to them … they have never been in a restaurant like rain forest … they love love the theming … they don’t eat their food anyway ….

I have the laundry’s card and used it a lot when I lived in NJ and it was helpful for seating and reservations. Took my niece to the Menlo Rainforest when she was little. Food wasn’t great but the atmosphere was fun!

Probably unpopular opinion but I like Rainforest Cafe very nostalgic for me!! Food is average but fun vibes and also kids love it here

We are also from New Jersey and eat at the Rainforest at Atlantic City and just stick with sandwiches and pizza. The kids always look forward to eating there. It’s a good memory

Back in the day they would light the sparklers on the volcano and as they brought it out everyone would scream "VOLLLCAANNOOOOO" ahhh good times. However, the food has always been terrible at every location😂

I haven't been in Rainforest Cafe since the early 2000s. The first time we dined there, it was really good. They had the caribe chicken tenders which were glorified coconut chicken tenders, but they were really good. Now mind you that none of the food was ever worth the insane pricing, but this was back when there weren't as many dining options there. The last time we dined there, it was terrible. Give me Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom over Rainforest any day.

Hubby and I went to Rainforest Cafe (Animal Kingdom) 4/11/24 Hubby got the shrimp sampler platter came Bourbon BBQ glazed shrimp, Caribbean Coconut Shrimp, Fried Shrimp, Shrimp Scampi, Caribbean rice $30.99 He loved it! I got Jungle Steak and Shrimp Sirloin steak, Shrimp Scampi, Caribbean Coconut Shrimp, seasonal vegetables $37.99 I ordered my steak med rare came out perfectly so yummy, I also enjoyed the shrimp however the seasonal vegetables were so undercooked needed dip as they were raw LOL Always nice to see you and Ryan AKA brother in a food review video together :)

My favorite was always the Hoisin Ginger Stir Fry.. and The Planet Earth Pasta. I'm really not sure if either of those is still on the menu. It's about the atmosphere for me.. at this point. It takes me back to my first visit back in the late nineties. ❤😊❤

rain forest cafe is one of my favorite restaurant I like the burgers there and the sparkling volcano

We ate there 2 years ago and it was terrible. Sad to see it has not changed.

Stick w the fried food at rainforest you're not going to get quality elavated food buttt its so nice when parents can chill while their kids are entertained w coocoo rainforest thunderstorms. Sampler app and a medium rare burger, kids or no kids, at rainforest you'll be happy!!

If you have kids you go to rain forest cafe. Not boat house. The food isnt bad imo. Its a fun place esp on vacation.

I love Rainforest Cafe. Eat there every trip. I can’t do a steak that has any pink in it. I tell the server to burn it. Can’t help it no blood 🩸 for me! I do love Homecomin. Last trip was my first time and it is my new favorite restaurant.

This restaurant is mainly for families with children and they enjoy it. I don't think many families with little children would enjoy Wine Bar George or some of the other high end restaurants.

I worked at RFC as a server in Burlington, Ma during my college days. It has since closed-but I was always shocked at how much people would spend at this place lol I did make great money though.

Fish are animals too. Anything that moves has life

Underneath the bridge, tarp has sprung a leak And the animals I've trapped have all become my pets And I'm living off of grass, and the drippings from my ceiling It's OK to eat fish 'cause they don't have any feelings

We went to the Rainforest Cafe in Menlo Park Mall a few months ago and they no longer have fish in the tanks there.

There’s no way around it, all the food at Rainforest Cafe sucks. It’s definitely a one and done type of meal.

Would love to hear a recent Boma review. I felt underwhelmed last trip August of 2022. I felt there were less options and the ones there fell short. Even the salad choices were less. This review was right on. Overpriced and low quality. Well done does not mean dried out. They are same owners as T Rex and Planet Hollywood I think. Yachtsman is best steak I have had. LeCellier used to have a dish called chicken in the pot OMG SO GOOD. Now I'm hungry LOL

Kristen. Your a brave girl. You usually go to CA. Are you going to the Disneyland food and wine? Their dishes are the size of some restaurant portions and better tasting than alot of the regular restaurant servings. Check out Bill and Lisa's blog for food and wine. Even their vegan look and taste wonderful. And the prices avg. 8.00. Huge portions. Love your videos.

Okay but my dad and I went to the rainforest cafe at DAK (not my first choice his lol) and tbh the chicken Cesar salad was probably the best I had had in awhile in terms of quality of the chicken!! It melted in my mouth.

I haven’t been to Rainforest Cafe in 25+ years, but I remember it being horrible. This is why restaurants should make their kids meals taste decent. We don’t forget.

And the food is still bad in Menlo. To funny. I’d take my kids but they just wanted to see the fish and rain storm.

Yeah and I can’t even handle soft as butter stew meat or corned beef. With a tooth that was in pain all day afterwards. After I made Irish Stew and Corned Beef on St. Patrick’s day in the slow cooker. Definitely wouldn’t be able to handle a dry steak.

I'm a well done steak 🥩 kind of guy

And to think I was feeling sorry for myself eating at Culvers in Milwaukee yesterday and they had NO tartar sauce for their North Atlantic Cod Dinner 😢..but your experience much worse!

Fish have the most sensitive nervous systems and reactor senses in the world. They do suffer when the lights etc happen. :(

We went to Rainforest Cafe in Niagara falls and we weren't impressed. The place was neat itself but the food wasn't exciting.

Great idea! Maybe next time ask your server the best\worse I don’t like that on the menu it doesn’t tell you how many ounces the steak is.

I look at all that theming and wonder how they keep it all clean.

So, if you are on a budget and trying to stretch your dime… you can’t beat the Landry’s card. The food at Rainforest is fine. It’s not the best in the world. It’s certainly not the worst. I’ve never had a bad meal there. I usually stack my rewards here. I basically get a free meal. All I have to do is pay the tip. Can’t beat it, frankly. Also the select seating is a huge bonus. It saved me a 90 minute wait at Bubba Gumps in 2019. Got in after a 5 minute wait.

I had a pretty good filet mignon there but that's about all I've ever liked there Hey thanks for the heads up about the landrys card cool I'm allergic to seafood so they cleaned a separate part of the grill to cook my filet and it was cooked perfectly But the wait was ridiculous both for a table and for the meal Definitely a no for me for sure it's for kids and narcoses would have been better and sister for sure I'm a well done person but that steak looked nasty

I got the ribs and they were disgusting, instead of normal ribs it was just an amalgamation of meat and small bones and it made me feel very sick 😅

Honestly I went here (stupidly) twice with my toddler. She hated the thunder and darkness both times, it was very very very expensive!!! Lots of waiting and food is just very very very average

I like my steak well done. I don’t want eat raw meat however you asked for medium well so that’s how you should have got it. You can get a well done steak and it still be juicy. Last time we went there my mum was given undercooked chicken. They didn’t seem bothered by how dangerous that can be and offer a free dessert which we didn’t want. She could have had it taken off the bill

I would definitely have had to drown that steak in A1. I think that you should have gotten the Mac and cheese. I tried to tell you but I guess that you didn’t hear me. 😊 It looked really dry. You probably should stick to simple food there like chicken tenders and pasta dishes. I love Gideon’s underbaked tasting cookies as well but not everyone does. They are worth the extra wait to me but the cookie that you ate looked good also.

I've gotten the trio at Rainforest and I agree with it being the worst. Everything on that plate was so unbelievably bland.. BBQ sauce on the ribs didn't even have flavor..coconut shrimp obviously frozen.. My son and I go to T-rex now.. have been several times and T-Rex has a trio that is way better. I've actually liked everything I've ordered at T-Rex.. Mushroom ravioli with shrimp, right now they have a special French Onion Ravioli that was really good.. and the Mushroom Swiss burger is so much better than anything at D-Luxe.. and yes, I had the Wellington burger and it didn't live up to the hype.

Went to eat there on our vacation in December worst decision ever...rain forest has gone waayyyy down in quality. Never ever again going to rain forest cheap food with high cost.

I also find that it's very loud way overstimulating in that place! I do not like that they play loud music in addition to all the rainforest sounds! I find it too much!

I am not a fan of Rainforest Cafe. I guess having one in a mall where I used to live, was never impressed with the food. I can never understand how so many people make eating there a priority when visiting WDW... I mean, yer at WDW with soooo many great options, why eat that horrible food?

Some people may not have a Rainforest Cafe nearby and it is a classic experience so maybe people want their children to visit. But there are definitely far better restaurants at WDW

That steak was perfectly cooked! Idk what you are complaining about. Lol it was definitely not as you ordered it. Omg I remember going to polite pig to try to get that cookie, but I think they were always out.

Not a huge fan of Rainforest Cafe. It is sensory overload for me.

Still waiting for one person to admit Gideon’s cookies are horrible. I’m not sure what is appealing about 50 hard chocolate chips encasing an uncooked lump of cookie dough. I’ve tried both Summerhouse and there and I’m confused how anyone could say Summerhouse’s cookies aren’t 100x better. Really wish the Disney vloggers wouldn’t all adopt such a hive mind about certain things.

A1 Sauce!? A great, properly cooked steak doesn't need anything but some salt. If yer drowning it in Steak Sauce, it's because it's not a good steak and overcooked.

Menlo Park Mall is also my Rainforest Cafe. I used to bring my niece for a few years and then the menu changed. The best thing about it now is the bubble tea across from it and the Lush around the corner 🥴
