I was so happy to stumble on this Epcot experience of yours. Back in the day, it was 1989 we visited Orlando for the very first time. Epcot was one of our and first visits and we did dine at this restaurant. I do recall that chips and salsa was delivered to our table complementary and also the many times we did visit in years past. That first visit I ordered a chili relleno dish that was beyond fantastic. We also were seated there at the front overlooking the River of Time ride. Back then before the Three Caballeros it was more authentically themed and much enjoyed and appreciated. BTW, I was privileged to march down Main Street USA at Disneyland, Calif. It was in '76 and '77 with a drum and bugle corps I was a member of and my High School Marching Band. We had over 250 members in that band. Great times, I was so blessed while growing up and having these amazing adventures. Love your content. Much love.

one of my favorite things about Ryan is how much he laughs at his own jokes 😂 Ive also had that enchilada entree before and it was just so much salsa and so acidic I couldn't enjoy it (and I love green salsa) I had the worst stomach ache after. It was a tum inducer for sure.

For the theming you can’t beat that restaurant, great video!

I tried the avocado margarita last time I was there and loved it. So creamy and delicious. Glad you gave it another try!

No complimentary chips and salsa? That ain't right. With the boats floating by, this restaurant reminds me of the river walk in San Antonio. I feel like the salsa verde is too sour to be the main sauce in the entrée. It needs to be calmed down with something else, like sour cream. Thanks for bringing us along, Kristen!

Missed opportunity to name that drink La Cava-cado. Also I swear back in 2018 on my honeymoon we got complimentary chips and salsa at San Angel Inn.

How you feel about Epcot Mexican food is exactly how I feel about Italian and Chinese food. We did Via Napoli last time we went down and you can get the same quality relatively close to me for a fraction of the price. However, we're not very fortunate with Mexican food in my area, and the decent local places really only do tacos.

The tacos looks good. Chips and Queso are the best!😁

Great review of a restaurant we really enjoy. It’s kind of hit or miss sometimes for us too, but you can’t beat the theming of San Angel Inn. But I agree with you on the chips and dip! I can make a whole meal out of my chips and dip and a nice beverage and be a totally happy with that!

We just ate there last month and literally had the same table so there for the atmosphere for suree🤌🏼! also had to use phone flashlight to see the menu 😅and the family behind us brought their toddlers that screamed the entire time 😅🥲but besides that we had like the same meal as you and our server was soo nice and refilled our chips and dips and tortillas!! Totally agree on them having a dip flight tho! 👌🏽

I absolutely hated the avocado margarita when I tried it in 2011 and now you've got me considering trying it again haha. My friends and I love San Angel Inn. When we went this summer, my one friend really wanted The Lily for her birthday and they went out of their way to get it for her!

My husband and I love this restaurant although it doesn’t have the best option for kids meals. We get the steak and seabass which have never disappointed us which is why we regularly order them. The avocado margarita is HANDS DOWN the best drink of my life. The ambiance is also the best in Disney world. It’s a complete vibe.

That ribeye taco is also on the menu at the San angel inn located in Mexico. No idea if it’s shaved.

That Avocado Cava Margarita is a must have right?! SO good. Had it at the other restaurant in Epcot Mexico at La Cantina De San Angel with their shrimp tacos. Loved both- try the shrimp tacos sometime!

Loved this, over from the UK later in the year and we were considering this as last time we ate at la hacienda. What about a review on le cellier, that's our other consideration...we travel to France quite a bit plus obviously we can have fish and chips whenever we want 😊 so we'll skip uk and France except of course the pilgrimage pint at the Rose and Crown ❤

Looks like an awesome atmosphere- I always want to eat there when i go on the ride! 🤣 But, honestly, they can't throw a couple handfuls of chips and a couple spoonfuls of salsa in for "free"?? I feel like even the cheap hole-in-the-wall mexican places manage to do that!! 🙃 Thanks to you and Ryan for sharing!

Love La Cava but was afraid to try the avocado margarita. Love the Lily but so expensive! Been to that restaurant and it is dark!

I had a great experience there but it is very dark!

When we went there for lunch I was completely full for the whole day. My problem with Mexican food I compare it to Jose Tejas in Woodbridge and Fairfield NJ (maybe being a Jersey girl you have been there). Still looking for a replacement in our part of Florida since we moved down here. Thanks for sharing.

In the summer a place called Gabriel's Fountain in Martinsville NJ has cornbread ice cream....fantastic if you're in NJ in summer ever. It's better than that ice cream in my opinion. No popcorn though.

Legit first thought that crossed through my mind when I tried it😂 Steakums with onions. Which tastes good, but not what I want for $34

I love corn ice cream

We had a trio combo of queso, salsa and guac with chips at La Cava and it was so good. Probably too many people would order the trio and nothing more at the restaurant. two people can definitely make a meal out of the trio at La Cava for around $25.

They also charge you for more chips at San Angel Inn if you end up needing more for your dips.

my daughter wanted to go for her birthday last month, we are not adventurous eaters.... we got the chips and queso and chicken quesadillas from the kids menu and they were really good! we tipped well for taking up the table with just that, but I feel like sometimes the restaurants try to get a bit too fancy

I agree about the chip, salsa and dips are the BEST part of the meal! My absolute favorite food 😋 Also agree without the free chips and salsa. When i lived in England the only Mexican restaurant in town (which was not Mexican in my opinion) made you pay for chips and salsa "How Rude" 😂🤣

It’s a shame your entree was not too good. It looked like it was missing care, like someone in the kitchen threw it together real quick. At least apps and dessert was good ❤ It’s interesting how all these restaurants at the Disney parks can vary so greatly in quality of food. I feel like at times price has nothing to do with it, I guess maybe it’s management or something? Thanks for sharing 🎉

I live in an area with great authentic Mexican food we have had corn ice cream for years it’s great! And you have to try tajin on fruit it’s so good! Great video!

My wife and I ate at San Angel Inn once back in 1987. Back then it was cheap and quite good. I haven't eaten there since. Probably never will again at those prices and the mediocre food these days.

Loving the vlogs. I agree that the Enchiladas are way over priced. That size of dish should be $18-22. But its Disney. And yes, chips and salsa should come with it.

I was just there just recently found it nice fun to do but crowded and the dark made me think dirty never really saw anyone cleaning and the food was meh but overall a fun expierience to say i did....check

I never like asking the waiter what is their favorite Because then I would feel compelled to get that. I guess it could work if you’re unsure what to get, but I would rather select something myself since I know what I like best.

I’m from Texas tex mex and authentic Mexican we have and not having chips is buzzkill

I have great memories kf this olace, but the menu was different (it was 2016)

I like La hacienda on the water at Epcot better however, the guac and queso are always a hit I wouldn’t ever go back to San

When I ate there the ambiance was great, but my entree was not good either and very expensive.

Honestly, I just suggest going to La cava, getting a table inside, ordering a marg, chips & dips trio. You aren’t going to find good authentic mexican food in the parks. But out of all the spots, Frontera Cocina in Springs has the best food out of all the restaurants

So while I’m wearing a high vegan channel, I’m sure there’s some vegan or vegetarian givers, so I was wondering if it wasn’t too much trouble and when you’re doing these reviews, can you point out the vegetarian and vegan options possibly and if there is an any may be a look at some, that could be made it vegan or vegetarian quite easily. They make it with some modifications? I could do that it would be much appreciated because it’s very difficult for vegans are vegetarian to find anything while they’re there.

Didn't the chocolate pyramid cost like fifty dollars?

I dined at Rick Bayless restaurant at Disney Springs and paid less than you did at that place. Way overpriced

Been 2x to give it a chance but it's a no for me. 😊

I don't know how you vloggers afford these expensive Disney restaurants😮

Had dinner at San Angel Inn on my past trip (December) not worth it. They changed the presentation. Had the enchiladas which should be something easy to make, I was disappointed. They served it on a cast iron skillet, with what I think as a lightly smeared of refried beans. Enchilada sauce was bitter, I missed the side of rice. Have given San Angel inn 4 tries and as a Mexican my self food is mediocre. 🤷🏻‍♂️ La Hacienda de San Angel same disappointment. To be honest the quick service is decent and way better. You’re paying for the experience. For the overpriced food they serve, chips and salsa should be included. I also looked at photos before deciding what to gets. Tip: Don’t get the tacos, way way overpriced for sad tacos.

Another tuber who likes to eat & eat the unhealthy foods. oh joy and don't they always have desert, how many calories. oh what fun it is to watch, not.😂 Channel boring.
