Hi Gary. I would have let them know about the issues. The manager should of tasted the food and given you a refund. These type of places get away with far to much poor quality despite the price.

Did you not hear when he said they both paid for the buffet? … At these places you usually pay when you go in even if you don’t eat anything.

These buffets usually increase the range in the evenings, but what worries me is that at opening time the food was cold! Are they taking the prepared dishes out of the chillers and relying on the heated serving pans to slowly bring them to temperature - a recipe for food poisoning soup?

The naan was all right The mousse you'd not hurry, But overall, it was sh*ite. The portions were skimpy; The sauces were cold. Should have gone for a Wimpy, But you've done that, we're told. The squid was all rubbery, And the rice looked anaemic. Fifteen quid? That's skulduggery! Hope your heart's not ischaemic. I have to reiterate - You really were rooked. Bet the salads were bitter, mate, And the sushi uncooked...

The chicken from the sweet and sour is more than a little bit on the hard side - it's got a Millwall tattoo!

This was so funny to watch, you still try to be positive when the food is just disgusting. That was a very expensive naan and a few small desserts but everyone now knows to avoid that place at all costs and not waste your money. My thoughts as you were eating was that it was from the previous day so to hear you say it confirmed it IMO. The deserts did look really good bit if you don't eat you meat you can't have any pudding lol. The very least that you expect is that the food should be warm!! Me too.. 2015 in the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh 😢 few hours after I gave birth to my little princess came something on a plate 🤷🏻‍♀️ not even my Scottish husband was able to figure out what "it" was. So I left 18h after my c- section with a taxi really quick back home and my German mum cooked some absolutely delicious dinner ❤

Can you imagine a good eatery in the O2 or any other concert hall? The skill is in eating somewhere tasty en route to the gig. 2 exceptions though. A stunning goulash at the wonderful Union Chapel and the pasta at the Royal Albert Hall was pretty decent.

Lamb on the bone looked more like fat on the bone. I'll always choose a lamb dish when trying out a new Indian, as I'll judge them on the quality of the lamb, where I'm looking for lean and tender meat Even without tasting it, this lamb looked dreadful.

This restaurant chain owes at least £639,000 in unpaid business rates to at least six local authorities throighout the UK. Ownership keeps changing and they are clearly short of funds, hence very limited scope of buffet and very poor quality.

Oh dear cold rubbery squid. Great start.your definitely a glass half full Gary ! Problem was it was half full of cold watery sauce. Maybe the cost of gas and electric is kicking in at Jimmy's. There is simply no excuse for selling food that is not only awful, but hot food that isn't hot. Even looking at it, I had a feeling it was going to be poor. And the restaurant has the nerve to charge customers for that rubbish! Good to see you were, as always, being honest and impartial. And you were doing your best to find a positive!

Jerry this was dreadful 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

We had a whole world buffet place in Coventry called Taybarnes. Food was about the same as you described here. Absolutely awful. Thanks for another excellent video, Gary and admiration for how calm you appeared in the face of adversity!

Oh my word just reminded me I got taken to a taybarn near Barnsley. It was packed but the food was shocking even had baked beans😅 I ate nothing and went home hungry!

Poor Gary! Thanks for being brave and honest. From past experience, a lot of these buffet dives (especially the ones that do multiple different cuisines) are very borderline. I am often left wondering what "meat" is actually contained in some of the dishes. Whatever it is, it's bloody cheap, but not necessarily cheerful. One wonders if the local cat population has recently inexplicably depleted?
