Having owned a landscape biz for almost 20 years, I doubt people realize just how much a cleanup of this magnitude would cost. In all honestly, I would never have taken it on. There were so many times I kept saying “he’s gonna do that too?” Kudos to you Tim! Amazing job and amazing dedication.

So right! I had a seasonal clean up done on my reasonably tidy garden in California…two guys, 6 hours, $800 bucks. I get the friends and family rate. There was some tree work in there, and the dumps fees which are very high in my county…but yeah.

It may be Free Mow Friday but the neighbours should bloody well pay Tim a healthy stipend for doing them all a huge favour. Their neighbourhood has just been elevated in status thanks to Tim's efforts. I would be ashamed if that property was mine.

I hope you get 1,000,000 viewers from this. The most amazing transformation ever!! You deserve so many awards for this

This transformation is nothing short of incredible. I watch these guys in the UK (Flawless Cleaning), and when they have to pick up a mound of grass like that, they use this tool that looks like a pitchfork with two prongs. You aren’t just Tim the lawnmower man, you’re also Tim the weed whacker man (I’m from Jersey. We whack things 😂). Loved this series. Well done 👏🏻👏🏻

Lol Ben gets too bored doing mere cleanups, he's graduated to full blown fix ups now raising funds for it and all. Always leaves me a bit worried though that the beneficiaries of his charity are so old that they will die soon after, and their not so attentive children or grandchildren will reap the fruits of his labour. The latest guy who had his roof fixed sounds like he's already got one foot in the grace as it is.

This is absolutely the worst yard I've ever seen. Just when you think you've got it pegged down, another corner of the yard is just a junky as the last. How does someone let their place get this bad? I'll bet you this will be the last time this property gets tended to. Bless you for jumping in with both feet on this one.

The best bit was the "lucky dip" of random items that individually appeared from within the vegetation...

I'm glad there were no crawling, biting things in all of that mess. This place is a crazy mess

Lol that was exactly what I was worried about, some ginormous spider flying out of the dark den behind the house.

As a viewer I’m so glad you wear those respirator/mask. Ya just never know what toxins, germs, poisonous chemicals and diseases could be lurking in all that waste and debris. This was like watching a Netflix mini series. It was great. You’re never a complainer Tim. You sir, are a dead-set legend! That was a mammoth task - the shear amount of hard waste, made it near impossible to use any big machinery, so the actual manual work was incredible!

I think this lawn transformation should be a wake up call to all of us in our 50-60’s to begin to simplify our properties and rid ourselves of all the things we “might” us in the future. Sadly, I'm at a place in my life (elderly) where I have to agree with you. I'm so exhausted form helping these kinds of people that now I find I'm running dry on what I need to keep myself going. I have finally learned to say, "No", and stick to it without apologising or making excuses. Just no.

I have used Aussie skips, they are very affordable for their prices. Though I got a 8m skip as we needed to get rid of so much stuff. The driver was friendly and even offered to give us a hand putting in the heavy stuff. So a very good place to get a skip bin from.
