Yes! I use packing cubes for my personal item only and I can fit so much!! Budget airlines are great for a weekend trip or a trip where you dont need to bring that much stuff. Ive never had anyone stop me and check the size of my personal item. Never had an issue bringing just the personal item

Yes, i have flied to Hawaii for 2 weeks with a personal item laptop backpack, Boston to Honolulu not stop, longest flight within the US. Yes, i had to do laundry a few hours mid trip, no big deal. Fly light, no carry on, no checked baggage, and had a simple but great time. You will be amazed what you can fit in that backpack and no fees flying these cheap flights.

bring travel detergent. you save a lot of space just bringing 1 or 2 pairs of the essential clothes and for shirts. i basically wash it and dry it during the night and its typically dry during the morning and if not I use the hair dryer.

Frontier is the most ridiculous airline on earth! Me and my mom and sister we never ever cancelled our flight and we tried to call frontier and they never answered the phone we went online to RESCHEDULE our flight NOT CANCELLED! We was trying to get back home from Tampa Florida and they wouldn't let us go home! They argued with us at the check-in counter and was extremely rude and had nasty attitudes! DON'T FLY FRONTIER IN TAMPA FLORIDA!!!!! All of the employees there are extremely rude.

Cancelled my flight and left me and my family stranded 1500 miles from home. Ended up spending 3x the original ticket to get home 2 days later. They would not put us on another flight but they offered us $50 vouchers for a future flight. The vouchers made good kindling for my fireplace. Obviously would never fly with them again. Worst airline ever.

I’m sorry I used them a both times it was a complete nightmare, the workers were rude, overall don’t let saving a few dollars on a flight ruin your vacation pay the extra fly a more upscale airline you will thank me later!!

I think as long as you know what their rules are, and accept it’s a budget airline, then they are great for getting you from A to B 😊

I’m at literally at the airport right now Flight delayed for 3 FCKN HOURS ! Oh yeah It’s frontier.. This is the last time I ever try to save money on flights. You get what you pay for.

horrible airline, they overbook and they can bump you out of your flight (even if you already paid for your seats) and offer no compensation, the staff at the airport are not prepared nor advise you of your rights as a consumer, they pretend you don't have any rights and they just reschedule your flight for the next day.

@@youdontknowme2915 yes they can, it's called involuntarily denied boarding and their representatives don't know and are not willing to respect federal law, you can submit a complaint with the department of transportation, like we did and we have not heard from it, I seriously doubt they will, Frontier doesn't give a sh..t.

they need to be investigated immediately..no phone support , chat function is worthless..the absolute worst airline..like flying in North Korea..

How often do you fly in North Korea?

4 flights in one week. EVERY flight delayed, gate changes, sitting on the tarmac once we landed. They are a joke.

The seats are hard plastic with a little padding, so if you want to not have your ass get tingles and go to sleep, you need to bring a pillow or gel pad for the seat. That was the worst part. Also, they reconfigured the seats, so the lavatory is so small that if you are overweight, don't expect to fit in it. I'm not overweight, and I barely fit in it. I'm a male by the way 5'11''. The tray in front is the size of a kindle, and the leg room is very cramped. Other than that, they are on time, and the price is good. But like she says, be prepared to pay a lot more if you have baggage and carry on luggage.

The most bizarre flying experience ever. If I had to choose between walking and Frontier I would walk.

I so could have walked from New Orleans to Raleigh today... Never, EVER again will I fly Frontier. As long as you have almost no luggage and it's a short flight, they are fine. If you need to bring a change of underwear, make sure you are prepared to pay for that. Frontier has you paying extra for everything. Well named though. It's like riding a buckboard across the Rockies during the Gold Rush and being robbed by bandits along the way. You wallet will cry and so will your body. And I'm 5'2"!

Glad it was helpful! 😊. By the way, I just flew on Frontier again to and from Las Vegas, and had another good experience...all the employees I interacted with were very pleasant and helpful!

I use frontier frequently.. and we always use the bundle to get a checked and carry on bag with seat selection.. I’ve never really had a bad experience which is why we continue to use this airline

I just flew them yesterday for a quick trip to visit a client. Bought the package and it was still half the cost of another carrier. I found the seats a little cramped, but besides that, it wasn't too bad and I'd definitely fly them again.

I don't really care about comfort or if the personell is rude...what is so scary to me is the cancelación at last minute...that is so stressful..Is this true about cancelations at last minute?

I booked my Frontier flight first time. When i arrived at the check in gate they told me my flight was cancelled! Its a total nightmare! I have to seach for other alternative. Wasted my uber and i have to waste money to book hotel again. Rechecked into my hotel while waiting for my next day American Airlines flight. Yes they refund me. Within 2 days back to my card.

No recline on the seats is a no go for me. Thanks for your informative video. Now I know that Frontier is not for me.

I sure won't again. I learned yesterday the Frontier of 2023 is not the same Frontier of 2009. No big screens in the planes anymore. They charge for everything even a soda. And if you don't own a smartphone they will discriminate and charge you $25 to get your boarding pass. I sure wish Midwest would come back.

You can print your boarding pass at home OR at a Kiosk for free.. You don’t have to have a smart phone

Frontier is ok when things go well. if there is a delay or cancellation, good luck. You will need it.

It’s great! It is thought what you pay for; I don’t think a cheap airline will be like any massive plane

nah, my flight attendants on a Frontier flight from PHL-ATL..they were the ABSOLUTE NICEST people i could ever meet. i love frontier flight attendants 😊

Fly frontier 2 times, first time delay 2 hours, 2nd time delay 6 hour because captain needs break. 3rd time flight cancelled 2hours before departure, I lost $40 for parking, one night hotel penalty $179, and rental car! I also spend $499 for goldwild pass, ticket never available until last min. What a Scam!!!!!!

I had a wonderful trip on Frontier airline they fly from a close airport to Florida for us as we have DVC vacation club! We paid $200 round trips or both my husband and I. For a short flight it’s great and I love the NEW planes!!!

I think most people here realise that Cabin crew are not waiters, personal servants or child minders but are ultimately only concerned with passenger safety. However you often get one or two people who expect that the cabin crew pander to their every need and or entertain their children. Passenger is always right mentality. Not being overly friendly or familiar could be designed to deter these diva passengers from making a nuisance of themselves.

Frontier's only real frontline employees are the pilots and flight attendants. All the gate agent are contracted out and not Frontier employees. Even more disturbing all the Frontier mechanics are contracted out except Denver and Phoenix. 85% of there mechanics are contract mechanics that don't work for Frontier. Not a good idea.

I have not flown Frontier, but I have flown on a couple of different budget carriers. I did not have a good experience with Spirit, but (likely) not for the reasons that you might think. My wife booked the flight and paid for carry-ons. We sat together, but I'm not sure if that was by chance or if she paid for it. All of that worked out. Here is the good, the acceptable, and the horrible. The good The plane was on time and I don't remember any drama around boarding. The plane was newish and clean. The flight attendants were funny and pretty nice. I find that flight attendants can vary quite a bit on any airline, but we had some good ones. The acceptable I knew that everything was a la carte, so I was prepared with my own snacks and a drink. The tray table was a joke, but at least there was a tray table. The seat was pretty bare bones. It was narrow, but I could deal with that. I actually prefer it when seats don't recline as I feel trapped when the person in front of me pushes back. Our flight was around 3 hours and the thin padding on the seats was starting to impact me, but I coped. The horrible I'm 6'3", wear a size 13 shoe, and I'm no featherweight. I brought a medium size camera bag that was the in a backpack format. It was not huge by any means and easily fit below the seat in front of me. However, this limited any movement of my legs. It was so tight that I couldn't even cross one foot over the other. The flight was three hours and quickly my legs started to cramp. I had to deal with that for the flight. The space was so cramped that I couldn't even pull the backpack out and place it on my lap. Truly a tortuous experience. I have flown on many other airlines, including Allegiant, and did not have this problem. After the flight, I told my wife, "Never again." Now years later I might reconsider (perhaps their configuration has changed), but if it happened again I think I would take a permanent pass on Spirit.

It is challenging for taller people! Although, recently when I've flown the super economy seats in United and some American flights, I think there has been even less leg room. Soon I think they are going to have us sitting on each other's laps, LOL!

My butt did not hurt or feel any discomfort, it felt flat flying frontier. They are marginally comfortable. I do enjoy sitting on very firm seats like certain gaming chairs for example but, Frontier seats are too firm.

I've been flying since August 2020 and I have never had my temperature checked at the airport (that's 9 different trips all domestically in the US). Could be different for different airlines, airports or countries.

@@GenxGypsy1968 frontier airlines was the only airlines that did temperature checks. I read online that as of June 2021 they got rid of it but not sure if that article was true. We’re flying Frontier in a week and just curious if their check in process on temp checks still happening because it slows everything down before boarding onto the plane

when i flue on aa they gave me free drink, coke , pepsi, but not on frontier and sprit. I think i paid the same price on all 3 airlines because i bought ticket early.

Frontier Airlines cancelled my flight and also refused a refund. The staff is unprofessional and don't know what customer service is and they don't care! If an unruly passenger is rude to staff I no longer care either.

Soo based on all the complaints... ive learned if flying Frontier get travel insurance, bring something comfy to sit on, it is just a bus that can fly, bring your own snacks, drinks, do what you can to make yourself comfy, and be super sweet to the workers, you know put on your acting skills for dealing with crap people... did i get all that right?!? 🤔 😅

Frontier is the worst! The time waiting on board so long. Why?….

I was just kicked off a flight with them because I wanted to complain how rude the attendant was to me. Accused me of being in the wrong seat, that was doubled book. I complained because he was rude, I was embarrassed, and I received no apology.

I love FRONTIER and my GO Wild Pass.

Too many hoops to jump through and I have can't even figure out what the hoops are. I'll stick with AA, thanks very much. I'll pay the extra money because I know exactly what I am getting, if I have questions I can ask a real person and I can walk on the plane completely comfortable and happy.

I never ride any of these budget flights . I booked one for this coming weekend .I’m already not happy about how much I had to pay for a check in bag . I should have just booked with delta as I normally do . It would have came out to be the exact price . Thank you 🙏 for the tip on the seats ( cushion) I’m short and petite lol so I should have plenty of leg room .

Unfortunately its almost like you need a spreadsheet analysis these days to figure out the best "price" for a flight, by the time you have the base cost, luggage costs, food and time cost (how quickly you can get to your destinations/ how many layovers, etc.), its kind of crazy! Just make sure to check how much weight you're allowed in that checked bag, a lot of the budget airlines are only allowing 40lbs now... that's new since I did my video 😊

Frontier IS the worst for sure. They need to revisit their customer service policies. And none care. Please, if you have a bad experience, you can file a compliant with the Department of transportation. I am about to file a complaint over personal item.

Love the video. Agree the worst airline. Tried to fly for my son wedding in Kentucky. Fly 1062 from Orlando to Cincinnati on April /8/2022. At the gate I found Vivian, who was very rude, giving us and other passengers the wort customer service. After about an hour inside the aircraft we had get out of the plane to wait again at the terminal. Another hour and haft later the flight was canceled. 🥲 Miss the rehearsal dinner and probably my son wedding if I don’t find a fly to Kentucky today. Haven’t find anything by now. 😿

I just came from ther it was very bad I will never used them again . How does a plane lands for a few second then shoot u bak in the air causing massive damage to my ear drums and when u call or text they don't wanna here anything also they where very late both trip no help from form employees I ask for help no help I ended paying hundred of dollars for nuttin first time I flew with them n last time. I'll stay with jet blue

I'm glad they were fined over $200 million. They are the worst PERIOD.

No, Frontier is an Ala Carte airline, so you pay extra for everything. The only "free" item you're allowed is a personal item that has to fit under the seat in front of you... and you can't have a personal item AND a purse. Your purse is considered your personal item at that point. They do have an option to buy a package deal when you initially buy your tickets that is cheaper than waiting to pay for your bags the day you fly. 😊

Never will put my self thru this crazy disrespectful airline , delay in every fly, very low class employees, disrespect in every aspect. Forget about saving 30 or 40 dollars. Do not put your self to that level , stay away please do not support this nonsense e Respect your self , I have the worst experience ever I hear people all over complaining!!! Crazy!!

Seats that do not recline! Finally, an airline that gets it. I'm 6'1 and the person in front of me always reclines into my space. Reclining seats are rude.

This all seems so cheap compared to two years later!

Never had a problem with Frontier at all. No delays no cancellations always did what they said they would do. Of course it's not the Ritz Carlton but it works.

5 flights this year and been delayed all 5 times.

Had a new plane - awesome. I give the pilots and aircrews of Frontier a 10. I give the comfort of the plane a 2. A la carte? Oh hell, I ended up paying out the nose and for the amount of $$$ I shelled out, I'd have been better off booking with Delta, United, or American. So, yes - they are really not as cheap as you'd expect. As to maintenance? Any decent pilot won't fly a plane with issues. Pilots don't want to go splat on the ground any more than passengers do.

It’s not great they charged us for personal item just because it didn’t slide in smoothly but it still fit in the personal item checker and this was at Atlanta gate d1 they made us pay 100 USD 😡

I'm a 57 year old disabled man first time flyer ever I'm flying one way economy with Frontier airlines I've called to confirm my ticket and my flight and I've ether had customer service hang up on my or thay couldn't confirm my flight do to as thay say thay didn't have it in there computer system I payed $1300.00 dollars for my ticket flying from little rock Arkansas to Las Vegas NV to San Francisco to Korea then to Manila Philippines will I ever use Frontier airlines again it depends on them and how this flight goes but as of right now I would have to say no it's up to Frontier to change my mind and how I feel about the airline so good luck Frontier

I’m sorry you’re having customer service issues, but Frontier doesn’t fly to the Philippines. They fly US and some Central America/ Caribbean locations. Perhaps you are dealing with a third party booking service? In that case you might try direct messaging their social media accounts…. But I’m not a big fan of those third party booking services for this exact reason.

well I gave Frontier airlines a chance and as I expected that highly disappointed me in every way possible first I informed them that I'm a 57 year old disabled man and a first time flyer I received very little help my flight to Las Vegas NV was cancelled by Frontier airlines now I'm having to fight Frontier airlines to get a full refund on both the flight I didn't get to take because of them along with my baggage fees of $463.00 dollars I was left in the airport for three days with no money and no where else to go thank you Frontier airlines for lieing and ripping me off your worthless in every way

Tight legroom and no snack services = worst airline *After flying Frontier to Phoenix en route to Grand Canyon, I'd figure that next time when you want to save costs, fly on Southwest instead or Delta for only 200 dollars more, with the option to upgrade to Comfort+

$200 more is a lot of money to some people, and could pay for a really cool experience once they get to their destination...and they do have snack services, you just have to pay for them, like most major airlines now 😊

I flew frontier for the first time from phoenix to orlando then puerto rico. Honestly not bad at all. I was actually impressed. Your a Karen.
