    I know I shouldn’t say this but watching this stream made me feel better for dusting off 5 buy ins today. Every time I had a hand someone had a better hand. Lost aces to 72!! Wtf. Just so done with Poker for today. It’s such a stupid game.

    K2o shove in splash pot is actually a pretty big punt. The 43$ in the middle are the new blinds, so effectively you're playing 7bb deep with a BB of 28$. Look up 7bb deep tournament charts for what you're allowed to shove, K2o from the HJ is a clear fold.

    No antes we can shove K9o+. That's assuming it's 7bb where people call a correct range: any ace, any pair and many K highs from the blinds I'm not sure about the jam, but comparing it to an MTT 7bb jamming range is egregious given the INSANE increase in fold equity we have

    I agree with the above. We just saw two players play a huge pot with J2o and K6o in a splash pot. You also got called with KJo vs your UTG shove. Any reg will be able to work out its effectively 7bb poker and adjust accordingly. K2o is a punt and a half mate 🏈

    Not being result-orientated, I feel like you should be going for it with the 76 hand at 23:01, I mean isn't 3rd pair the bottom of your range in that spot? I know you're all about blockers, but how can you possibly have a heart in your hand there for a bluff?

  • @Weazel1991

    @Weazel1991

    2 жыл бұрын

    I think with the exact runout and the K not being a heart he has SO many flushes, and we block the type of hand that could call two streets and fold (K6s for example). I'm not expecting all that many one pair hands by the river, and I just didn't think this guy would fold enough. Agree it is difficult to hold a heart though

    Obviously this video will do well, schadenfreude is a strong emotion, especially when watching an obnoxious (and proud) individual get panned. Complaining the pool is full of nits just seems lame though, the pool is the pool, it is what it is, so beat it. Surely beating nits should be easy for a master poker player?

    Enjoy the videos, watch every video and have learnt a lot, but would say you deviated from a lot of concepts you have appraised previously especially with your bluffs (e.g. the A4H jam). Would be interested to hear your thoughts

    @@samemmett768 aight so firstly for those saying I played badly, there's a disclaimer in the description. The A4hh hand I actually like. Now we don't ideally want these hands, mainly because we want our opponent to have them, meaning there's some auto folds. But give how much I can have for value by the river (multiple straights, sets and 2p hands) I think there's enough merit to jamming this. We unblock hands like QJ with front / back door flush draw and I just think we don't have any particularly perfect bluffs to jam river with. We also block AK and AA which is something useful here

  • @samemmett768

    @samemmett768

    Can’t argue with your reasoning tbf, although I wouldn’t say you unblock much of his folding range on the river especially with the nut heart draw. Gg’s tho

  • @melodii

    @melodii

    If you can't take feedback, you'll never grow. You literally jammed K2o and then complain about how tight the pool is. What hands are you up against that you beat for value? Do you take the pot down enough that K2 is profitable? And many times you say "this hand wants to lead" when it shouldn't. You should never play your hand like that, always play your range. Some of your play is too straightforward and easy to classify your hand class.

    Lucky you don't have to pay rent since you live with your parents. So you can afford to lose $1000 at 200NL lol, thank your lucky stars/ God that your parents love you enough to chase your dreams. I would be playing all day every day trying to make something out of my life to make my parents proud if they let me live at home at 31 years old.
