That's a remarkably low wattage charger though. I've had double that for almost a decade... No excuse for it to not at the very least be 35w, especially with phones getting larger batteries.

No ads make zack's videos very pleasing to watch nd the voice he has got is very soothing to listen!

But feel for half the price you can turn their cheaper phones(i still can't remember their names) into streaming equipment too. You just need to be nerdy enough to tweak a few things and i expect a cameraman or anyone in this field to have the sufficient knowledge to make use of it. I do appreciate the convenience of it being baked into the software though

IP65/IP68 Means that the phone had passed both the IP65 and the IP68 tests, which are both very different tests. the IP65 test is about spraying the phone and IP68 is about dunking the phone underwater for 30 minutes.

@@OneKnifeYeHand The last Sony device tested was the XZ2.. And we don't have a teardown video since the XZ Premium. We had the XZ2 Premium, XZ3, Xperia 1 and the 1ii.. So minimum 3-4 years of gap.. Don't know the exact date though.. What I'm trying to say is.. We didn't have a Sony Xperia for a while now..

Would I ever use a phone like this? Absolutely! I love Sony. I used to have a Z1 Compact which was my favorite phone! The photos it took were fantastic! The control you got with the camera software was top notch. Also their battery saving mode was (at the time) unbeatable. With the power saving mode you'd get hours of battery life on a low charge. Such good times. Hearing you say that this would act as a 2nd screen for a DSLR ignites my passion for photography again. But as you said, the people this phone was made for are all being professionals while I'm watching this video. Weird. I almost felt alive for a second.

Love your work Jerry, but Sony hasn't made a "DSLR" in about 10 years!

Headphone Jacks coming either on ultra expensive Flagships or budget midrangers. That was Deep Stuff Jerry.

All of my colleagues were super excited, what we use to send the video footage back to the television not just a several kilos heavier but not even weather proof (dejero engo) and only cost 4 times more (yeah that has SDI and 6 sim slots) but most of the time this would do it...and the cameras we use with everything is somewhere 65k dollars...so just because it's overpriced for someone, it could be an amazing value and tool for others
