If you wanna run the car that low get belted tires🤨 because They are still gonna rub and tear up the tire and eventually the tape. 😤 whoever designed the car needs kicked in the nuts.🤨

This is far from a no prep drag car! You have to buy the car, wait for it to arrive, unbox the car, charge the battery, take the body off to install the battery, put batteries in the transmitter, and take it outside to use in the street!! This is a ton of preparation to get racing. Horizon should be ashamed of themselves. LOL 😂

That’s not what they mean by no prep they mean like no prep drag racing where you race the street or backwards on a race track so you start on the unprepared surface

Drag cars definitely looking like tons of fun. So many RC’s on the never ending list to have. I’m not sure if I want the roller or rtr version when I get one. I agree 💯 the 1969 Camaro looks beautiful!!

It was a Playstation 5, that kicked off my RC habit. Now I have a Revo, Teton, Trx, VS4, YD-2 SXIII, TA dr10. Glad the scalpers got them all I am having fun outdoors!

I just got the exact car yesterday used but in excellent condition I wonder though can it be upgraded for more speed?

It's now 1 year later (July 10, 2023) and I just bought this car, ready to run, from Amain for $149.99. The Losi 22s roller is only $69.99. I'm really not a drag racing fan so I plan to change wheels and tires and convert mine into a road-race car.

Such a beautiful 69 Camaro. The body detail is amazing. Great price, good electronics and its a Losi. 👍 The only improvement I can see is the rear tail light covers ?

Yes many times to fit in the box the body is mounted lower had to raise my body mounts on a Short course truck or the wheels would rub too

If it makes you feel any better, we can't get most of the hot hatches that you lot get. No GR Yaris here, we never got Cossie Fords or any of the good pugs either. We can't even get 3 door Fiestas. I guess they assume everyone who wants to go fast wants a V8. Oh well. Great video! Maybe Horizon will change their mind and send some muscle your way. Cheers!

Give u a hint in setting up the IRS for straight line drag racing ,- dial in about 5 degrees of POSITIVE CAMBER.

I love my smart batteries find they last a long time and has good power delivery plus being able to watch the battery info is nice to keep it from over heating and catching fire but also use a DX5C controller which seems to be a good combination

I believe prolineracing makes a belted drag tire. Might help with wearing the paint. Some people may know them as protoform .

I thought "no prep" referred to the track not being prepared or modified before/during the races. How would a car be "no prep"?

My grandfather had the opportunity to be part owner of summit racing when they were in the process of getting the company started and refused the offer. If only he hadn't I couldn't imagine the types of life we would of loved. RIP

The Traxxas has a gyro setting to only work during braking. Not sure if it's legal, but it saves the car after the pass.

They need to release everything in the uk cuz that’s where all the tc KZreadrs and RC703 lovers are

At the 454 mark, when you run it will go left. I can't run mine waiting on a replacement ESC.

I did one for my DR10... forgot this time.

I agree on spectrum battery are a little high on price but I have been happy with how well they are holding up. After over 20 cycles I'm still at 1 each cell for resistant most batteries I have tested are more around 15 resistant after couple charges. So to me that has alot to say about why cost are bit higher more mine are the 3s 100c 5000mah plus I do get a avg of 4 mph faster vs my cheaper batteries. I wasn't sure I wanted to buy them when I could get same for maybe 20 less at same rate so wanted try them to date they are still the best I've tried and yes wish they would cost less but to me a cost to benefit seems to be in that there batteries are worth it for now. What's your best battery for price that has same spec that would be compatible???? Keep the great reviews going 👍

I've tried alot over the years my best budget battery right now are the povway I got from Amazon have been good I have 8 different sizes from 6s 4500 down they do good job and ovonic not bad also I use in my fpv race qauds 6s I also tried a smc it was very good but it wasn't mine so I couldn't test it way I like to and not sure how they are price wise . Keep up with your channel your doing great and hope we see some new break through stuff in the future if not it's still a fun hobby that's safe and better to do then worry about all b.s. in the world

Yes, a little annoying. But such an awesome car

One of the weird issues with rtr. Seems like they try but fail at body and suspension that aren't adjusted for each other. Had issues with some of the rock crawlers. Had to trim up to an 1" around the wheels on the HBI one (got it on sale for $100 at tower hobbies 15 years ago, I think they discontinued it).

Nice looking car. Never considered a drag RC, but that looks like fun.

Sweet - do the rear tyres have soggy sidewalls to hook up like a full size car?

The best rtr drag car in my opinion, I only upgraded pinion gear and tires and I’m running 2s battery, car is really fast !!

the rear looks perfect stiffen front preload front was bouncing quite abit remember those tiny bumps of the asphalt image pothole sized to the car

It doesn't. 64 mph on 3s then cuts out. I switched to the 130 amp they put on the tenacity and now it goes 71 before I have to let off cause of space constraints where I'm at

Very nice body. Perhaps Shoe goo and aluminium tape under fender flares can solve the problem (y)

Best I have seen one of these go was 2.38/2.45 and 46mph. Possible they don't think there is a market although drag racing is pretty well known not seen any organised for the UK.

Beautiful looking car that its a pity they don't sell here in UK did you get stung with customs tax, as when I bought my typhon 6s from amain when it got to UK I had to pay I think 91 quid in customs tax so it didn't work out any cheaper and had to wait nearly 2 weeks for it. Still my favourite rc though by a long way

Stick velcro stips the padded bit whare you used instalation tape the wheels won't burn through that stuff to the shell!

get the losi 22s and buy the sway bar kit los334021, Im certain you can get even better launchs out of it. I would suggest putting limiters in the front shocks, also a different rate spring up front. Take the rear limiters out and adjust the bump stop to be a little smaller. Some gearing and a different set of tires, easy 2.5 to 2.6 seconds for only a 60 bucks in mods and maybe half hour on the bench!

They are not Joking. As a hobby Shop I've had 3 of these on order since February. They still won't ship. I've had to give the deposit back to 2 people.

If the car looks a certain way on the box, then it should run that way. No way would I pay the price to have my body torn up. Beautiful looking machine totally let down in my opinion.
