The World War 2 Iceberg Explained

World War II was a global conflict that lasted from 1939 to 1945. It involved most of the world's nations, divided into two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis powers. The war began with the German invasion of Poland in September 1939 and eventually spread to include major powers such as the United States, the Soviet Union, Great Britain, Japan, and Italy. The conflict saw widespread devastation, atrocities, and technological advancements in warfare, including the use of atomic bombs. The Allies emerged victorious, leading to significant geopolitical changes, the establishment of the United Nations, and the beginning of the Cold War between the Western Bloc and the Eastern Bloc.

46:33 The forest swastika. There's an answer to it found buried on a website called "third reich in ruins" (interesting site I might add). Reportedly, the trees were planted as part of a program prior to WW2, when the area had been forested out. Birch or Larch trees were planted by German (nazi) forestry employees as a tribute to the Nazi party who had created jobs. In particular the forestry jobs. This went undiscovered for quite some time, as the trees would only change color in the fall when compared with the trees around them. Meaning that you had to be around them in a specific two or three week period in the fall to actually see the Swastika. It took some time, but the Swastika has since been destroyed by removing key trees from it.

Horrible pronunciations man, but decent video. Die Glock is pronounced Dee Glokeh, and Luftwaffe is pronounced Luhft-waffuh, among other words, which a simple google search could’ve prevented.

My guy you gotta learn pronunciation posthumously isn't pronounced post-humously(Vietnam iceberg video) and Joseph Mengele isn't Mengel it's men-ge-le and biggest constructive criticism world war 2 began in 1937 when Japan(major axis power literally one of the big 3 along with Italy and Germany) invaded China forcing the United States to impose sanctions cutting oil imports entirely which in turn made Japan double down their territorial ambition leading to the attack on Pearl Harbor also leading to the invasion of the South Pacific territory held by France Great Britain and the Netherlands in all honesty the term world war 1 and 2 shouldn't be viewed as 2 separate conflicts because the first world war directly lead to world war 2 they are in all honesty the same war with the same countries
