Plot: After the Troublesome Trucks cause Henry to have an accident, Splatter and Dodge are asked to take on his work until Henry returns, to Splatter and Dodge’s delight. However, the trucks aren’t done causing mischief, which Splatter and Dodge soon find out.
Hi all, first video of the year. Here is another rewrite in the style of the Middle Engine video from last year. I’m really pleased with this story, this another rewrite idea I’ve had for awhile and the success of Middle Engine really helped give me the push to make this.
Massive thank you to Craig for once again doing a brilliant job with the Narration and also thank to Will and Spencer for helping me with the script and Spencer for making another awesome thumbnail which is easily my favourite one, he’s made so far for me.
Before anyone asks, the Q&A is still coming. It just needs a bit more time in the oven before I’m ready to release it.

Never seen this take! Well done. I like the Percy and Oliver duo. This would've been a blast to see during Season 6 if Splatter and Dodge hadn't disappeared after the movie.

You know, this was a pretty good story, and I do hope Splatter and Dodge learn sense before they get themselves into serious trouble. Besides, I've always seen the good in these two, considering they were brave enough to stand up to Diesel 10 in Magic Railroad and that takes courage..
This take on the episode is so original! That’s the only way I can describe it. Feedback wise, could have been a bit funnier physically.
This is better than the original episode from the show.

Thank you. Sure you may if you like. Tbh I have no idea when this is set. It exists in a canon where Magic Railroad and anything that followed doesn't exist. So I'd say just after Series 5.
Will Splatter and Dodge redeem themselves?

I don't like Splatter and Dodge being bullies. It's just not their character. Diesel might come back too often, but he suits the episode much better. Also, their voices. Oliver's is great, but Splodge's is a bit too um...what's the word...goofy. But, good set design. Oh, and don't think I've ever seen an episode where Percy and Oliver interact.

Fair enough, I respect your views. I've always seen Splatter and Dodge as characters who needed developing as in Magic Railroad they are really just there so Diesel 10 has someone to talk to so the audience can hear his plans. I just feel them being cocky and boastful lines up well with them being new diesels and all.

That was an unintentionally coincidence, Craig who narrated this has never seen Bob the builder and I personally am not overly familiar with it either. It just so happened his Splodge sounds a lot like Roley by accident.
