Dubai trying to become a commute by foot city is a joke right? The infrastructure is already built around highways and boulevards, which just means longer distances for everyone to walk. Oh, and the 100 degree heat is something to contend with as well. With every building skyscraper and freestanding home being Luxury to ULTRA-Luxury, walking isn't the popular mode of transportation.

@@rsoldier7829Like, Elon Musk's Loop? The physics don't work for the loops. To create such a large vacuum requires an incredible amount of energy and vacuums larger than anything see in the world.

Car-free towns are future structural trends in the world. Although EV's (electric vehicles) are unemissive with carbon dioxide due to the chargeability with the battery, they still shouldn't exist in such places.

It's beautiful and amazing to see but, I don't understand: why do people keep building for companies and the super-rich instead of providing buildings (comfortable and safe) for those who cannot afford such expensive things, mister/misses/miss/X Average or for the many less well off??? The rich get richer, no matter how many corpses they have to crawl to make even more profit, because that's all that counts: PROFIT!!!!!!!!!!!! So, it is not made for ordinary people, they will only be able and allowed to 'enjoy' it from a distance!!!!! I would be much more cheered if something decent were built for the people who are struggling financially, the young people who cannot buy or rent anything now because everything costs too expensive or is full, that is more necessary than another stupid building for the rich of the earth!!! It's not gonna improve the life of most people, wake upt man/woman/X!! ;-( Pinkie

Modern architecture is so ugly! We need to go back to the architecture style of the old world Capitol Buildings. Curves and domes. Detailed ornamental carvings. So beautiful.

I'm sure these buildings will be fantastic, however, other than the JP Morgan Building in Manhattan, you could pay me to live in any of the other places !! Who actually wants to live in Indianapolis ?? Or Israel ?? Or the Middle East or China ?? Who chooses to live in those 5th world countries ?? NO WAY !!
