Manny is talkative, passionate and likeable on camera. No offence, but his cameraman hardly says a word, even when prompted. He should hire Adam. His channel would fly

Strangely, I got more excited over these two watches, than watches we’ve seen, costing 100k and up. First, I share Adam’s more simplistic taste and a love of tool/diver style watches. To finally see Adam own a really special piece like this, is just thrilling. His excitement is obvious and with good reason. What a handsome watch ! I love a classy looking watch. Elegant hand engraving with every part polished by hand. I think a watch that looks so beautiful on the inside deserves to be seen and not covered by a watch face or metal back. I like newer designs as well. Have you ever looked at a Hautlence Vortex Gamma Tron? I could see that being a watch that peeks your entrusts. I love the crazier belt/chain drive watches. It shows people can still come up with new designs of what the average person would say is an unneeded expense considering everyone carries a smart phone. It’s hard to explain a love of watches to someone like that though. I know I’ll never own a watch that costs that much, but I still have faith I’ll be able to afford something for a few thousand one day. I wasn’t the smartest with my money when I was younger and they really don’t give you those gold watches out for being medically retired after a decade of service, so it may take a while.

I e always had a love for watches and have been looking to build a nice collection at an affordable price. This really seems like a good start for my dress watch. Thanks for all your videos. Wish I had found you guys earlier.

Really sad that this watch even costs this much. Can buy these movements at bulk for less than $50. Zero resale value. Great throw away piece or when traveling and don’t care if it gets stolen. All show no quality. Not for a true watch guy and sad that Michael actually endorsed it.

Don't fall for this ERA scam. This is a cheap Chinese movement ($240 USD) in a $20 watch. You are absolutely not getting anything of quality, and there are tons of more serious brands offering similar products for $700-900 without misleading their customers.

When youre driving a rolls royce, everything you wear looks (should look) real. If you wear a cheap chinese automatic watch, people will think its expensive, because youre driving a rolls. Cars really are there most "in your face" display of whealth.

A simple Google search reveals the scepticism behind this watch. It is, as you state, a Chinese movement popularised on Amazon and available for $600 in finished form, with the same feature set. It does expose the vast profits in luxury watch brands however their finishes are generally superior though it's said fake Rolex watches are getting more difficult to separate from the real, so the quality is increasing. This blog says more www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/9lxb3y/era_prometheus_a_tourbillon_under_1000/ and questions the product with a surprising contributor ceaselessly defending the brand. I guess everyone imagines a Ferrari at Ford money but the reality just doesn't exist. Just like manufactured diamonds it's improbable that cheap substitutes can ever match the allure of the real thing. It does, however, throw a spotlight on brands and the myths surrounding them which we loyally buy into and believe. Perhaps that's the reality check we all need.

It’s pretty common for producers to have beats headphones or small Bluetooth speakers, etc. Because they use these as tests to make sure that the music sounds good even on something that’s not good sound quality.

@@Robstrap plenty of producers use cheap headphones or speakers to see how everything sounds on something that’s not flat response. For example car speakers people test songs in their cars all the time. You know if it sounds good in the car it’s probably going to sound good elsewhere. Obviously they use flat response studio monitors for the mixing. But many use cheaper stuff (such as beats) to test how their mixes are going to sound on regular devices.

I don't know if thats really a tourbillon as normally the movement rotates in different directions, this one is doing it kind of in the background but very nice watch. There are lower priced tourbillons by the way.
