So most of our grandparents and parents were maradona and Argentina football fan. Since my birth I have seen my parents hold a special feelings for Argentina football and maradona, so I also grew up to love Argentina football team, and also our generation witnessed messi. So, I guess messi magic + by birth fandom and love transmitted from parents/grandparents = crazy supporting.

We’d like to think that it is common knowledge that anti-blackness is a global phenomenon but unfortunately, the targeted white-washing of known history has prevented that. Currently, Argentina’s population of European ethnicity constitutes 97% of the population - this is a disturbing figure taking into account that by the late 1700s nearly 50 percent of the population in the interior of the country was black, and between 30 and 40 percent of the population of Buenos Aires was black or mulatto. When asked about Afro-Argentines, most Argentineans believe that Argentina never took part in the slave trade or that the Afro-Argentines left Argentina “naturally”. Both of these theories are wrong. What actually happened to Black Argentineans is so disturbing and inhumane, it would be shocking that it wasn’t being taught in classrooms if the world wasn’t so inherently racist. It is widely reported that president of Argentina from 1868 to 1874, Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, undertook a ‘covert genocide’ that wiped out the Afro-Argentinean population to the point that by 1875, there were so little Black people left in Argentina that the government didn’t even bother registering African-descendants in the national census.

It's maybe because of Diego, Our previous generations used to tell us about Diego, then we witnessed Leo in our lifetime, We grew up watching him and he was my first love. We Bangladeshis don't play quality football, maybe because of climatic conditions and other problems but I can tell you how much we love football, how much football means to us. That love towards football made us fall in love with Diego, Leo and their Argentina. When we started , maybe we started as Messi fan, or Diego fan but once we started feeling their emotion, we eventually fell in love with whole Argentina, the way they feel football, the way the play football, that's why they produced such greats like Diego Maradona and Leo Messi and other great footballers like Mario Kempes, Gabriel Batistuta, Juan Roman Riquelme, Carlos Tevez, Angel Dimaria, Javier Mascherano, Hernan Crespo, Kun Aguero and other legends. They all our emotion since our childhood. We love football, You gave us that beauty of football, that's why we love you. We don't want any rewards. Because you already blessed us with your football. That moment when the emir of Qatar put the robe on him was universally symbolic and was what we all wanted to see. Amazing moment in football history. Rusia tenía un pacto con la Otán de que no instalarían misiles cerca de Rusia, el cual rompieron, es por una cuestión de seguridad. Por otro lado, el gobierno ucraniano lleva años bombardeando a sus ciudades con población ruso-descendiente y apoyando grupos neonazis que linchan y atacan a dicha población. Ucrania era parte de Rusia y apenas fue la Unión Soviética quien le dio el estatus de país por razones administrativas, por eso hay tantos ruso-parlantes y descendientes de rusos en Ucrania.

I don't know why but people from Bangladesh loves this team... especially Maradona... people in Bangladesh have great rivalry between Argentina and Brazil supporters 🤣... I have become a big fan of messi since my mom supports Argentina 🇦🇷 but my Dad supports Brazil 🇧🇷.... I have good memories in Bangladesh 🇧🇩 with my grandfather who used to get very excited about Brazil 🇧🇷 and Argentina 🇦🇷 giving goals.... I guess I support both but for some reason I really like Messi 💚💚💚 I really wanted argentina to win the cup this time.... I also prayed for the win. Majority of people wanted Messi to win because... well, he's Messi, everybody loves him. But some countries have a particularly political reason to cheer for Argentina. See India, Bangladesh and some Middle East countries celebrating? Well, during the 1986 World Cup there was a little boy from a poor village in Argentina that won with nothing but his two feet (and God's hand hehe) against England, which for many around the world was an allegory of a single boy rebelling against The Empire (the British one, obviously) and wining. Crazy world.
