As far as I know, this is the only Chinese drama that has given such importance,power and superiority to a female character...I luv the female lead's attitude...she is neither that whiny nor arrogant and not too modest...she has her pride and self respect and she does keep it till the end...great writing...And of course Doungyu nailed it as shanqu....❤

i knew how to do that sword move when i was younger, but my swords were platinum lookin' (not sure what metal it actually was because i never had to touch them). gettin old sucks.

China does not have to take over Hollywood. Its dramas can be accessed on mobile apps such as WeTV, Bilibili and iQiyi. Hollywood has Netflix and Prime Video.
