Beautiful product. Love the single sided fork and wheel size choice.

the "better bike" would have adequate fenders to protect the bike and rider from road debris, rain wash, and mud.

Yup, they have those! In fact, they have a full range of integrated accessories available. Mudguards, lights, integrated lock holster, to panniers, travel and storage systems… they’ve got it!

I am not near a dealer and so am shopping online to see if this is the bike I want. It would be my 2nd e-bike so I have some familiarity but still had questions. Your questions of the founder were very insightful and things I had been wondering. Yet I haven't been able to find the answer to some of them. For example, can you ride without the PAS or with a drained battery. Thank you for a great interview and demonstration.

No. The better bike doesn't need to be tiny. It definitely needs frame mounted front and rear racks though. Then again. Maybe it should actually be a recumbent with removable aero fairing. Good that bikes... should be cheap enough to have both the conventional one for the city. The aero recumbent for 10-30 mile rides. Would it be ev? Yeah. Kinda. For the hills. For 40mph.

I LOVE the idea of a recumbent bike! I’ve often thought about building a frame and adapting an eBike to it. An aero fairing would be great for comfort and efficiency. But at that point (compared to the Gocycles) you definitely lose the ability to easily transport the bike when not riding it. The ability to fold it up is a great selling point because it can fit in small spaces when not being used.

Yeah, it was the best we could get to. You wouldn’t believe the audio BEFORE editing! It was so bad, environment had a lot of background noise.
