The wood piece - Blackmagic pocket cinema camera (4K upscale)

Happy to share with you a walk that took me to...the wood piece.
This video was entirely shot on Blackmagic pocket cinema camera original, in Full HD 25p Cine DNG (RAW), in film mode, and upscaled in 4K in DaVinci Resolve.
I Graded it in DaVinci Resolve using the colorspace transformer tool to match the Arri Color. I used the basic mec 709 Arri lut built in DaVinci.
The video was entirely handheld. No Gimbal (more cinematic ;) )

I really miss that camera! I wish they used the same sensor or something similar in the new pocket cameras. Something special about the OG. It's like they took a sensor from an Alexa and put it into a pocket camera. Lovely footage btw!

Félicitations! Très beau travail sur la colorimétrie, mais surtout sur l'histoire et l'enchainement des plans. On voit quand le vidéaste s'ammuse ;-)

Merci beaucoup Gabriel :) oui je me suis chauffé à vraiment imaginer un petit parcours, beaucoup plus difficile à faire par rapport aux vidéos purement contemplatives de paysages mais tellement satisfaisant 😃 je suis content que tu aies noté cela !

Thank you ! It took some time but I think it was worth it ! I used the Sigma 18-35 with Viltrox speedbooster
amazing..how did the iris worked in the original with viltrox? tried 2 originals not working iris with viltrox and sigma 30mm lens

1. Update your viltrox. 2.dnt use internal battery. Some lens require too much power and wont power up with the internal battery along with the speedbooster lol. Have fun!
what aperture do you normally shot in for your wide shots?
