The Woman Who Adopted A Baby On Her Gap Year in Uganda Brings Him Home 5 Years Later | This Morning
Ойын-сауық
When Emilie Larter flew to Uganda to volunteer in 2014, she thought she was beginning the adventure of a lifetime. And she wasn't wrong. Just days into her trip, she started caring for a 5 day old baby called Adam, whose mother had sadly died following his birth. After immediately falling in love with him, Emilie began the painstaking process of adopting him, and bringing him back to the UK. And after enduring five years of expensive legal fees, and lengthy court appearances - they're finally home, and joining us in the studio to share their story.

Emily, you are what the world needs right now. Many women and men are in the world holding so much money that can be put into good use to change lives. You are a an angel and I bless your kind heart ❤
Emily is a beautiful soul..God bless her
It takes a lot of tenacity and determination to adopt from overseas due to bureacracy. Well done Emilie.
Adam is much matured now, I could see it on Emily's channel. Much loved Emily and Adam
I just love this mother and son❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love sees no color. This is absolutely a match made in heaven 👍🏾🥰
Sweet sweet lady and this child Adam will always bring you back so much much more because of what you have "sowed" in his life and the others as well. I love children & thought I had a heart until.I saw her on her Channel then here. She is called to be a mother. Mothering is a spirit not necessarily just having a baby through your own loins. Alot of people are not mothers even though they have had children
God bless emily and Adam
Good bless you, you are a good mother ❤❤❤
Wondeful!
I just watch a prank video with them two ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome
Genuine haertful love
I love
Adam is very sensitive it lovely story but mum should consider about telling story on his presence, it made him soo uncomfortable.
Why?
the kid😌is 😌 bored......u can tell😂😂😂
He’s tired.
His behavior and mannerisms are very weird for a child his age. I was a nanny here in America and his behavior is that of a like a toddler. I’ve nannied for a 4-6 year old before and they are just way different and more intelligent. Maybe because he’s African idk 🤷🏾♀️

racist what does being African have to do with anything?

So you’ve seen that child for about 7 minutes and you can already make your unuseful diagnosis and link his mannerism to the fact that he is African? RealIy? I have two children and I see in that video a child that seems to be tired or bored. What are you? Some kind of doctor who have obtained his diploma in a garage sale? Let’s Hope you haven’t traumatized those children you had under your watch just like you seem to be.

Maybe he is in a foreign land without his natural parents on National Television having travelled down from his new home. Perhaps he was very shy unused to his surroundings???? Your comments are very weird and I am wondering whether in the US you need to be vetted before becoming a Nanny as in the UK you would not pass muster with an attitude like that!
