This recruiting after 3 playoffs and a national championship is unacceptable. Those players who won us a title were pre NIL guys. Something has to change.

We are exactly where we have been the last several years.... Michigan is not a top 5 type recruiting program. They don't pay players. Michigan is a developmental school. As long as we finish around 15th, we will be alright

@RICOJEEZUS no it isnt...unless u don't understand The University of Michigan...... U gotta be honest about the situation...... more than half of the top 100 recruits in the country can't even get into Michigan academically every cycle. Very rarely can Michigan get a top 5 recruiting class. Next up, Michigan doesn't wanna do pay for play, that cuts out an addition 25% of the top recruits...... Michigan literally can only go after maybe 20 kids in the top 100 every cycle....... and the fact that those kids don't come out of the state of Michigan jus hurts them even more..... If Michigan finishes top 15 in today's recruiting landscape, they have had a good recruiting cycle.....

That's the Tony Alford experience. A lot of hype, buzz and visits from high end prospects, but ultimately a lot of misses and decommits.

Ya'll can bash Michigan all you want for their NIL philosophy. But here's the bottom line: All those teams that go out and pay millions to buy their players, will be the same teams that will have those same players poached with more millions by other teams less than 6 months later. Not only that, but you gonna find that donors are gonna get fed up giving their millions to players that show no loyalty, and jet to other teams. And that donor money well is gonna dry up fast! Lastly, you don't pay players for what they achieved at the high-school level!!! They have to earn it at the collegiate level and produce first. Then they deserve to be paid. You pay a guy millions before he puts your jersey on, he either will underperform, jet for another team, a or both. Because you can't buy loyalty!

Right on. Academics and impatient to start year #1 on a National Championship team are often a major reason and PT is the case here.

Marquise Davis chose Kentucky because he wants to play immediately as a True Freshman and he won't get that chance at Michigan. Kentucky has zero RB depth! That's why they signed 2 RBs out of the portal. They have no depth.
