I agree with everything you said, except for D. Edwards being better than Blake Corum.. BC's vision was impeccable and never took a loss of yardage, he was way more elusive than DE also.. DE does have more speed and homerun ability but in this offense, BC was the perfect back.. I definitely think DE is ready though to take the RB1 position and I'm expecting a big year from him

@CFB.Central yes, and I'm not saying he isn't gonna be great either, but there was a reason he fell to RB3 at one point on the depth chart last year... all those games you referenced highlighted his strength as a RB which is- if there is a hole to run through, he has the ability to break a huge run.. I was more referring to his ability (compared to Blake's) as an every down back.. Edwards needs to improve his vision and running through tackles, Blake was exceptional at those things on an every down basis

The biggest thing with this team, will be like last year, team play, depth and knowing who you are and what you want to do. Unlike last year's schedule they will not have a lot of time to figure that out. They have a great system, culture and coaching now. They know who they are and what they want to do, which is more than most teams can say. So many people doubted them last year. I sure it will be the same this year.

5 All-Americans on defense, and the best defensive coordinator at the collegiate level in Wink Martindale. Defense still wins championships folks.

Ya that schedule looks brutal. If they get through that into the playoff im impressed because what thats probably 2 losses to get in. So if you beat at least 2 of the usc,oregon,OSU,Texas then should be good. If they win 3 of those then for sure. Thats saying they beat the other teams they should

as pascal once observed, people believe not based on what is true, but on what they find attractive. the reality is that michigan could have as many as FOUR players drafted in the first round NEXT draft: graham is already acknowledged as the best returning DT in DIV. I grant is ranked 7th. johnson is ranked the best returning CB in college football. loveland - the bestTE. and they're all only juniors.

coaching staff isnt that different and the qb has been there a while so he understands the system, they have been running the same system for years and have players and coaches who are familiar with it. The OL could be a problem but we will see

the problem is they won't be able to cheat this year. that's why all the coaches left. they all know they will be a 3/4 loss tea for the next 90 years. just like the last 90. before they started cheating
