I always loved how in one of the first episodes they get destroyed and have to be rescued, but every time after that they're doing the rescuing

To those wondering this reference, "Plo's Bros" is the aurabesh writing at the side of the LA-AT gunship of the wolfpack. Really shows how much they respect and love Plo Koon

For sure they are one of the most wonderful legions ever. Best Commander and soldiers in.

I always saw the wolfpack as the pararescue force of the GAR, small elite, and manoeuvrable. They'll be there to pull you out of the fire.

originally they were a standard legion with i think around 30k~ troops? then the whole superweapon ship thing killed all but 3 and the jedi and they restructured as a smaller elite unit at about a battalion size, pulling veterans from other legions to make it. thats also when they changed color from maroon to gray, as wolf decided the color 'bled out' of the wolfpack along with the actual blood and lives of the original unit

The Wolfpack was kind racist to those little guys. You may have noticed that the insects they ride appeared in ROTS, and that is actually because in legends *they were republic troops in the battle* who had been assigned to a jedi of their species. This jedi is later part of a team of jedi who try to assassinate vader and almost get him to surrender and they do figure out that he is anakin but Palpatine sends a platoon of the 501st to gun them down.

Some would choose the 501st. Others would choose 212th attack battalion. Some perverts would choose 312th star corps for Aayla Secura. Me? I would take Plo Bros any day.
