yeah i have it. liner notes say they thought it would date the movie ie not age well. probably right but it'd be ok since nobody now knows the jitterbug was dance then anyway. And while I'm posting, I might point out that Anne Hathaway narrates the Wizard Of Oz on Audible.

There couldn't be a more perfect cast for this skit

There's a pretty deep dive in here: Anne's sung lines ("Someday I'll wake and rub my eyes/And in that land beyond the skies/You'll find me...") is from a reprise of Over The Rainbow that was cut from the film. Dorothy was to sing it while trapped in the Witch's castle, trying to bolster her spirits.

The Tin Man is amazingly like the Tin Man in the film. All of them are doing great voices, spot on, really good. Dorothy singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow sounded like Judy Garland belting it out. Great job. I love this sketch.

The costumes are actually impeccable

If woody allen made his own version of Oz and played the weather vane (though his version would also have him neurotically trying to talk Dorothy into bed)... And wow, Anne's ability to imitate Judy's voice, that vibrato, was superb.

LOL saw this one when it was live and I’ve never forgotten it! I used to know someone EXACTLY like Fred Armisen’s weather vane character, a total whiny nebbish who never knew when to shut up. God SNL was so perfect with this cast!!

Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Lion resemble the original players alot. Anne does a great Dorothy and Toto is superb The weather vain isn't bad either.

This was actually a really good sketch by SNL in the modern era. Funny, well acted, great costumes and design.

Honestly Anne can really sing! Learned something new today.

This was one of those rare skits where pretty much every joke made me laugh, from Bing Crosby yelling at a cleaning woman to Lon Donson in The Sound of Music.

Anne's voice is phenomenal. 2:50 gives me chills

He would not be cut, however, from the movie Ghostbusters.

Fun fact the song Dorothy sings is a real cut reprise of Over the Rainbow

You have to admit, they played the characters really well. She has a great singing voice. Well done on all parts.
