Simon of Cracking the Cryptic is going to absolutely hate the broken monitor puzzles in the mountain. As someone who hasn't seen this game speed ran before, the tetris puzzle area skip in this was great.

I'm still waiting for someone to challenge my PS4 wr for this game! It's on Legacy though for any% and the challenge. And yes it's NOT easy to maneuver, and believe it or not it's not only because of the thumb sticks!

Simon would be staring at the opposite wall the entire time and then turn around just after it completes.
This is how I imagine Data feels walking around the Enterprise.
Very impressive on the last puzzle before the pillars. They are randomized and to do them as fast as possible its some nice thinking even if they are easy puzzles
Wow, that's a lot of people from Cracking the Cryptic, BUT this speedrun is super precise and amazing anyway!!!! I'm loving it
There is something profoundly poetic about silently playing a puzzle game you’ve memorized. Especially bc it’s the witness.

my man is solving puzzles as if they were cartoonishly complicated house locks 😭
Absolute insanity, love the long range solves in particular. Amazing memory too! I also watched some of the nearly full % video and the speed of the endgame music challenge is testament that its not only memory but a lot of skill and knowledge of the rules that are at play here. Great stuff.
Probably the most insane speedrun i've never seen, congrats !

Big display and top range mouse might help i guess.
@johannhowitzer

Quite a few puzzles have more than one solution, and in a speedrun, the solutions are going to be optimized to make them as reliable as possible to draw very quickly with the mouse. Also, typically people solve by using horizontal and vertical mouse movements, as that's what's in front of you, but diagonal mouse movements can create some really consistent setups for quick solves. You only want to require fine precision when the game is demanding it.

If you've not seen it and can spend the time to binge-watch it being played from scratch by someone who doesn't know it, I'd suggest looking for Cracking the Cryptic channel and watching the 8 or so streams of Simon on that channel playing through it. It makes more sense once you watch through from the start.
