"someone tell heaven that Omar coming" such a powerful line
The only thing that could have made this funnier would be Clay Davis going "sheeeeeeit!" in the style of an opera singer

Michael Kenneth Williams used to be a background dancer before the show, no wonder he got them moves

Fitting "There are complex problems inherent in the bureaucratic institutions of the state, but there's no one to blame; it's a vast array of personal interests that conflict in a way that undermines the overall system" into an academic paper is one of my best moments. RIP Michael K Williams
I lost it at Omar's dancing.

@@charliedawson6318 I never even thought about it that way but you are right. They prey on younger kids and tell them it's better if they do the dirty work cause they won't get charged as adults. They truly are burners. Right after the segment about pawns and chess too.

I love it so much that members from the cast wanted to be a part of this. Way to lean in, people. This shit is solid gold comedy. Of the highest order.

Featuring... Aries Spears as William 'Bunk' Moreland. And Terry Crews as Comissioner Daniels' abs.
Wow. 11 years ago in 2012 they got- Snoop in a dress was crazy. So many original actors were free to do this. INSANE.
Feel like snoop is open to more things than we actually think she is. I always find her so cute in a dress. She did this in that last indie movie she did.
Proves to me that the reason Michael Kenneth Williams is so good is that he's also an amazing comic actor.
@ 2:19 "experience the Wire's realistic portrayal of America's decaying inner cities" as a dude gyrates while doing the splits has to be the funniest bit of this video.
Michael Kenneth Williams is the best actor on TV.
I can never look at Omar again with out picturing that dance.

Great work Funny or Die. It's not often I smile and laugh through a whole video on youtube.
the wire is the best show ever and the snoop-part was so unbelievably funny. maybe the funniest thing i have seen on youtube for a year or so. very well done.
The guy on the floor at 2:20 hahahaha
Even Dukie is in this! this is just too amazing
It's the most critically acclaimed show to ever be on TV and widely regarded as the best ever, so it gets the recognition. It didn't get any awards though b/c it wasn't doing huge viewer numbers and the awards shows are mostly popularity contests...
Good-night, sweet prince; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.
I JUST started watching the Wire and this is awesome
If you're wondering, yes you should watch The Wire. Then come back and watch this to get all the inside jokes.
this absolutely fantastic
man, i want a full soundtrack of this
Just finished the series today. Oh man... I am so happy this exists. Omar's death cry. I want to meet these geniuses and shake their hands.

The greatest musical ever!
There was already a show like this called Cop Rock.

The fact that they went the extra mile and got Kima, Bubs, D'angelo and Omar to play this was brilliant
still the best damn show ever
