Marlo was really a serial killer, the two breast and one in the mouth was his calling card. they didnt show him do it again but Bunk was talking about his earlier bodies and his calling card once

Ya know, if Slim didn’t kill that kid, and Cutty hit Fruit like he was supposed to, A: Cutty woulda been BACK. And B: lex wouldn’t have killed fruits leading to bodies death, and bodie and Slim would’ve had the connect at the end and the Barksdale empire would’ve still gone on. Who shoots a hopper anyway, his lil ass in that massive white flag of a t. Details, all about the details, but you know, the game is the game, always!

IIRC they only were there to drop Fruit. But Slim saw the boy reach for his pocket and laid him down not knowing the kid was asthmatic and having an attack reaching for his inhaler.

You ain't look at. the ending close enough enough. Slim is a man of loyalty. His loyalty to Barksdale ain't change and he even told Marlo he wasn't meant to be CEO. If the series continued Avon would have been passed control by slim and been right back on top. With a Marlo, Stringer, Joe, or Omar in sight🤫

Avon was done, he was gonna get by on respect. he maybe coulda been a wholesaler (coming outta ny), def not controlling no corners. with what army?? he wasnt bout to go up against the coop (I dont think avon could have carried that like marlo did) hes lucky alll his beefs were deaded. Even Bodie, if he was alive wouldnt go back under avon after being left out in the cold like that.

Y'all notice something? The tide of the war started changing, and bodies started dropping for Marlo when Avon finally got Stringer off the board. Barksdale was weak like Marlo said. And that's because Stringer started weakening them, playing all them away games

Avon was about to win, it was pretty much in the bag for him. Slim was in position to kill Marlo and make a clean get away. The only reason why he lost and Marlo won is because he went to jail at the worst possible time.

Tbh… I think he felt something when he killed her. He stands over her body for a bit and Chris has to give him reassurance. Seeing it from his perspective, the only girl to ever take an interest in him was actually plotting to have him killed. That’s gotta sting.
