In fairness Levy would have him out OR in about two hours and then get it knocked down to misdemeanor turtleneck. Probably ended up with community service or some kind of turtleneck rehab.

@@neverknowsbest1717 Yeah, he did. Remember when Marlo asked him if he told Randy about what happened to Lex and he said, "No?". And then right before he answered, he touched his nose, which was a tell that he was lying. Marlo couldn't risk the chance of Randy, who had a reputation for being a snitch, fingering Marlo for the killing of Lex, by way of Little Kevin... they both could turn witness against him and because Little Kevin blabbered his mouth, he's not to be trusted anyway.

I don't. Every time I watch it I notice new themes and new connections. I wouldn't want to lose that. This isn't Star Wars or 6th Sense where there's a big plot twist. This is a deep drama with serious commentary on society. The more you watch it the more you'll learn to appreciate it.

Two fascinating points. 3:06 - D knows streets are watching so he suddenly becomes aggressive towards Bunk and Mcnulty and demands they arrest him or step off... 3:15 - Bunk also realises upper management is watching them sit with D...so he frisks then arrests D to keep appearances...and D too ign'ant to know Bunk was actually looking out for him... Both sides playing their role and the other not realising it. _"I got the shotgun...you got the briefcase....It's all the Game, tho' right?"_

It doesn’t matter what they tell. Any cop with common sense knows whatever someone yells when they pull up on them, that would be the “code word” to let people know the police were there. No point in even trying to hide it.

I really liked D'Angelo's character because he was the "middle man" in the Barksdale organization. He knew what it meant to be stepped up by the higher ups and he wouldn't do that to the lower ranking soldiers. I loved his character.

Really is true. He was actually not bad at the 'game', but his heart wasn't in it at the end. He just wanted out. He was actually a good manager who had a natural business-sense who turned the pit around and made it profitable. He was also Bodie and Poots teacher. In particular, Bodie learned how to run a successful business through him. D was, however, better suited for the legitimate world, but he did inherit some of the Barksdales business acume. He might not have been as disillusioned by the game if he had stayed in the Towers. Moving him out of the Towers was big mistake, that was part of what lead to the downfall of the Barksdales.

He should have took D'Angelo advise and went back to school because even D knew the game wasn't in him. Stringer did what he felt like needed to be done, and D in return was doing what he felt like needed to be done, at the end they both get kill, so neither one comes out a winner.
