This guys are the saviors of rock and roll.
That is amazing how Richie can play like that using only his fingers!
Damn people! Stop your hating. Portnoy is amazing. He makes it fun to watch. He is an extremely gifted drummer. So sad that you hate on him. I drum, so I get what he is doing. I've seen him play Rush, Zeppelin, Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, Avenged Sevenfold, Fates Warning, Overkill, Twisted Sister and Dream Theater to perfection. He can play it all. Watch the videos of the greatest drummers virtually struggling to audition for Dream Theater. Be cool!
I swear these guys are right up there with Rush as the best 3-piece
This is what real music sounds like! Live, talented folks making beautiful, sometimes improvised sounds. They leave it all on the stage
Thank you for posting this. I flew out to LA from Phoenix to see this show. Was fortunate to sit 4th row in front of Billy. An amazing night ! The Saban is a beautiful old theater that just made the show that much cooler. The Dogs are the coolest most baddass band in the land right now. SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE !!!!!!!
AWESOME...U MIGHT HAVE A NEW FAVORITE 3 PIECE BAND AFTER WATCHING THIS...THESE GUYS ARE ON A MAD TEAR TOGETHER ON STAGE...ALL TRYING TO OUT DO THE OTHER...JUST FUN TO LISTEN TO AND WATCH
Thanks for posting this! I saw them earlier this year. They are incredible live. What this video doesn't show is how much energy they give off during the show - its a rush

Always wanted to see Portnoy in an LTE show but kotzens shredding I’m just as happy to finally see that sounds just as good and no pick like 😱🤯 can’t wait to see them in a few months just bought my ticket to see them at this same theater then aha this made my decision clear don’t miss them and this place sounds good!
Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!
Oh for Pete'sake. Portnoy is a fantastic drummer and he is just enjoying himself, as you would playing with these other two brilliant muscicians.

Thank you so much for posting this. I've been wanting to watch a full WD show, and they are not scheduled to make a tour stop where I live.

I'll be that guy, he doesn't belong in this band. Billy is mis-cast imo. They should've got someone younger sexier, a bit more supportive than show-boaty. He detracts from Richie and his bass sound is weird like electronic sounding where the gain is too high. His age looks to be a generation removed from the other two. Also imagine if they got another bass player who could actually sing, it would add to Richie's vocals imo.

He's 70 now 😮
im here because of mike portnoy :)
excelente master.
PHODA DEMAIS!!!
All of you bitchin' about Portnoy obviously never saw two of the greatest drummers in rock history play. I'm talking about John Bonham and Keith Moon. They were all over the drums, having the time of their life every performance, not just sitting there like a stone. Moon much more so than Bonham, but they both played with a fury that made you get energized. I for one love seeing a drummer spin sticks, toss sticks in the air, be animated, all without missing a beat. Try doing it if you play drums -- unless you are unbelievable you can't do it. Just sit back and enjoy and stop bitching.
Hail The Dogs !
MP sent me here!
Looks like Mike has been hanging out and watching Arejay Hale & ray Luzier for a little bit hahaha. Awesome view, great shots dude
Awesome video! What video recorder did you use????
BTW nice Keith Mooning there on the end mike :)
at 1:30:53 portnoy sticks begin to shatter? and when the lights go off he changed them?
Oblivion is soo different
6:58 What is Portnoy hitting with his left foot that made the mic come in front of him, I don't see anyone behind him so I'm guessing it's a special stand. looks really useful for a drummer that also does vocals because he wouldn't need to reach one of his arms out to get the mic in front of him.

+DkS398 There is actually someone behind him. It is tough to see in this video, but his drum tech knows all the mic cues.

Yeah, I watched the video again and around 1:05 he was telling his drum tech to bring the mic in for the vocals. Would be cool if there was such a mic stand though where drummers could use their non dominant foot and hit a pedal that moves the mic in and out the way.
Watch Portnoy's sticks just crumble during regret, pieces flying everywhere lol
Thanx for posting. Ridiculous musicianship and great sound .... these guys are veterans of the rock scene. I'm a guitar guy, but I don't mind watching Portnoy's antics .... he's quite a character. But the whole spitting thing .... I dunno. It's more of a slip and fall occupational hazard for the roadies cause they're running around back there.

MikeBikerKickstand Portnoy's a jackass. Love the record, but Portnoy is totally replaceable in this band.

Everybody makes mistakes.....brb
hate spittin'
I agree that Portnoy is a bit of a turn off in this video... trying too hard. That being said, I watched pretty much the entire thing!! Blown away by the band. :)
Portnoy needs to relax and just play. Great drummer but it gets old with his antics, spinning and waving and pointing. Does he really need the whole crowd to see him spit to the side of the stage every time he sings. Who gets to to clean his mess up. Poor roady. Have some fucking respect.
I am really turned off to see Mike Portnoy on stage with Chris, I guarantee Cameron feels the same...........very embarrassing........I have to go now
