The Wind Cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix - by Jamie Harrison (Lesson In Description)

Музыка

Lesson Now Available here: bit.ly/3J8DXRu
The lesson includes videos on how to play this song, understanding this style of guitar playing, chords, lyrics, note for note instruction, my studio gear, my microphones, detailed info on my guitar and amp, my thoughts on tone, my gear settings and tonnes more info.
This my version of 'The Wind Cries Mary' by Jimi Hendrix. It is fairly true to the original version for the first half of the song, with more of a swing groove, and then my own solo towards the end.

I love everything JM, SRV, JH and honestly, no bullshit, I've purchased the "everything" package from this guy and I'm blown away by the attention to detail and care this man gives to his tutorials. You really do get what you pay for. I'm working my way through Gravity at the moment and hope to have it nailed soon. The guys a genius. Have to agree with Jamie here- I bought the "Everything Bundle" and he covers the theory very well- using the CAGED system which is what this style is predominately based on- and he really brings it home. Devin Sparks- I think you need to go through more of the videos- the songs certainly do help with "applying" the theory- but he does a great job of breaking down where the progressions come from- how the chords are built etc. If you're a total beginner- maybe not the right course- but if you have some basics down- Jamie has your back...

It allowed me to see the genius in Jimi's writing and playing style......Man he was so incredible, now days Guitarist would have left out all of the fine touches and inserted fancy licks....Jimi redefined the guitar for the `later guitarist' that are being consider as a Guitar God. As Colin Mitchel said previously, this course is absolutely the best I've ever seen. I have been playing the guitar for 50 years and my attitude has been to "never stop learning." I have always enjoyed the solo guitar/singer arrangements. With Jamies use of a looper pedal combined with the arrangement of the songs, you don't need anything else. A microphone, guitar, amp, either hardware or software looper and you have everything you need. I understand he just released a free beginner course just a few days ago. So beginners have not excuses either. So far, I have learned Slow Dancing in a Burning Room and I shot the Sheriff. Our friends and family members have heard me play at least a hundred times, there were some jaw's dropping in my studio when I opened up with an incredible rendition of Clapton and Mayers songs. If you are serious about playing the guitar, go buy this course.

You're still wrong and its now 2022. Jimi hendrix products have been offered for sale for 30 years. You're still delusional and extremely disrespectful. Its time that you went to the doctor and get your eyes checked out and your ears. Only the official products can make the official sounds. Its not acceptable to buy anything and claim hendrix sounds. If you want to stay lunatic, you leave this hobby. You're not allowed to associate with us official customers with actual JH sounds.

Wow! I am annoyingly skeptical of strat tone and blues playing. You really are the real deal. That tone is absolutely amazing, and your relaxed hands let out soul just like Jimmy and Stevie. Super clean rakes, amazing dynamics with emotion. Very well done brother!!!
