I think Dr. Viktor Frankl is the most understated of all psychologists.

The will- to- meaning is the strongest impulse in one's thinking. It requires great patience and hope. The will- to- meaning does work over an extended period of time, as I can testify by my own life.

We are condemned to meaning, it is created not by simply changing an attitude, but rather, by embracing one own vision of reality. This is mainly only realised in DOING, it is impossible to do in isolation, which is the very thing that contradicts the notion of individuality...

I can see that a lot of thought and effort to make and edit this video. This is brilliant. Thanks for sharing. Honoring parents is the most imp bit. This is not a conspiracy of religion and tradition. It is a recipe for happiness and well being.Honoring means being courteous to and mindful of parents' well being. It does not mean you say yes to all their views.

Quite a man. Thankyou for creating this video and documenting his work and life. I didn't know anything about him until the other day, from a BBC programme. I remember as a toddler waking up in my mother's bed alone, looking around and wondering (but no vocabulary) why I was here ie. in this world.

Lego therapy?? Sounds great to me and my children! His book touched my heart. The passage where he is in box car, looking through thr cracks, he can see his beautiful hometown so pretty in the winter snow, he is only a few hundred feet from a wonderful, useful life in his old village.

We all may act as individuals, yet, we develop our own individualism through others (Paradoxical in a sense). We develop a meaning through which individuals are valued to us, and even then it is still only our own perception of meaning. The isolation takes place in ones mind opposed to environment.

I love the idea but I think it's both logos and eros that drives human development; without both of these, man stagnates; with both, he flourishes in every sense of his being...

Imagine the guilt he felt, giving up a chance to save his wife when his parents ended up dead anyway. But then again, the guilt of leaving his parents would have been just as bad in the end, probably. A no-win situation, if he hadn't been developing logotherapy.
