The Wildest Thing We've Ever Done! RV Life in Telluride Colorado
In today's travel vlog, we ride out the random Colorado snowstorm in September 2020 in the adorable town of Ouray, CO before heading to Telluride. This Colorado mountain town is known for epic scenery, great hiking and mountain biking trails, and awesome skiing. While we definitely explored this side of the Telluride, CO we also saw a different side of the town, doing the most challenging and honestly, the scariest adventure I think either of us has ever done -- the Telluride Via Ferrata.
We didn't really know what we were getting ourselves into and might have freaked out a bit, but we completed the via ferrata! Looking back we can honestly say it was 100% worth it!

@@EatSeeRV We are in FL now visiting my two sons. We just dropped off the jeep for repairs today and I also had to come here to use the facilities on the Naval Base since I was unable to locate my wallet in Ouray and I had to get a new ID for work. I think Mr. Grumpy Pants took my wallet because he was grumpy that I rang that bell too hard! A benefit to going back to look for the wallet was that I got to hike some of the perimeter trail while I was waiting on Mr. Grumpy Pants to open his bar so I could talk to him.

I have to admire both of you as doing something like that really puts you outside of your comfort zone. It was nice to see honesty and emotion that can be crippling unless you overcome it. One super important thing is never, ever do your clips in the same direction. Always do opposite facing clips. Clip one from the front and the other come in from the back. Prevents accidentally squeezing the clips open. Just and fyi for you and others that may do a via ferrata. Dangerous the way the guide told you to do it.
