​@@thomasborgland9247defenetly speed up your farm in multiple ways, you have no need to stick to specific content you can Simple do like : ok ill farm 16 maps for maps to sustain with Atlas, after that im switching to my farming strat that I was prepearing for, and do it in a cycle when i run out of resourses.. Speed up + less boring + flexibility = more content you CAN do for a Playtime

I can't imagine how they handle to make this massive changes and ideas after just 3-4 months. I'm not that proplayer of PoE but they never failed on make players excited for the new league, just beyond my mind.

It's because they already have planned for these a long time ago, i doubt they did these changes in 3-4 months. So they waited until now to release these changes.

they have stated before that they usually work on the next 3 leagues at a time (though that could have changed). meaning they are already well into working on 3.25, have done some planning for 3.26 and are just starting to plan 3.27

Its all about their architecture. If the code behind the game is written properly, they could make most of those changes easily with a single swap.

I don't think the voice acting gets enough credit as it's always so damn good.

Agreed that it doesn't get enough credit. The top notch (and extensive) voice work in PoE has always been one of the game's notable strong points, imo.

I'm not, lol. I very much enjoyed getting a way less buggy launch than PC players deal with. Now we get to experience the same shit except it'll take them 5x longer to address our problems because they'll be too preoccupied fixing PC first...

Not really, I don't understand all this hype for these changes, it's actually the same exact end game, not saying LE is doing anything better, it's totally boring in respect to all the things you can do in PoE, but if LE starts adding things from next season, considering that PoE has problems that the dev don't want to solve and are too annoying to me and many others, from simple things like the infinite grind needed to make a stupid character, the fact that the best builds are always 5 or 6 because the season dictates a meta too rigidly, and the continuous nerfs, and much more. PoE is dead unfortunately, at least to me, and PoE2 is not promising at all (just being slower is a big no-no), LE is not doing anything special either, but it's new and different at least, I still have some hope only because that.

My first impression was that it was too much clicking but, as someone who plays SSF, I can appreciate the quasi target-able crafting. Worst case scenario, I'll just take my chances and not bother optimizing the map slots until I feel the need to modify or I start getting blasted by mega charged revenants or something. Wasn't impressed with the "hard no" rucksack logic and having to use an extra skill point for mine QoL is a bit of a drag when left click was fine but, among other things, the multiple atlas tree is such a massive benefit all on its own. All in all, the league is "okay" but the base game changes are really good.

Yep thinking the exact same thing. During the last league when I tried out so many different builds I wanted to change my atlas tree around according to my Build but in SSF it kinda sucks. This is gonna keep me for much longer I think.

They do it every league..so im happy. Wish more developers were like this. For example, I waited a whole year for the mystery of Pirates day over in WoW to launch. It was a Battle Royal.... I wanted to cry. It was just awful and not fun and rewards locked behind a battle pass that would take 600 games to unlock. Thank god for GGG. Thank god!!

Pretty sure playing through the same unchanged campaign for the 500th time and the same map/atlas grind will not feel new at all, lol. But hey the mechanic will probably get a week or two of interest so better than nothing.

dude what got me was the multiple atlas trees and how easy it is to use it all i get to do so much more content rather than respec my tree whenever i wanna swap things upa bit and holy im so excited to try to farm t17 bosses just to sell the maps LOL

1 league in PoE contains more (new) content than the entirety of D4.

Divination Scarab of Curation seems great. So for each DIFFERENT favorite map you get 10% increase chance of finding divination cards. With 12 different maps this is 120%. But it will be the divination card pool for each of those 12 maps. However if you just put all 12 maps as Crimson Temple, it will only be 10% increase chance to find a divination card, but whatever map you run will have the drop pool of Crimson Temple only.

If you just want to go max speed and get past the campaign take a look at "Quick Reference Leveling Guide for Path of Exile" by Atroz on PoE Vault, it was my go to guide for second monitor viewing.

The first time I ever played POE was last season and I got to maps and did a few. Playing on console for now so it’s harder. This is so rad tho, this game is so sick! Kinda like WoW tho like if you haven’t been playing wow for 10 years already it’s crazy to jump in now.

It seems the Necropolis crafts are similar to fossil crafting in a way, you can customize your craft with increased and reduced chances for modifiers but unlike fossil crafting you have seemingly very little control over what the base of the item your getting. Fossil crafts are repeatable with a maximum of 4 fossils at a time but you can control what base you place it on. I have a feeling sacred orbs will fetch a high price because of the randomized manner in which the Necropolis selects the base of an item. Or I could be wrong.

So basically in atlas tree we are rushing Unwavering Vision for early starter yes?

i feel like this was a flavor miss not doing this in october haha.

As someone who struggles to buff my builds in Act 5-10 to finish Campaign and do Endgame (SSF player), this will be MASSIVELY helpful in getting that push easier without too much crafting luck

Which really sucks I love crafting leagues and I hoping they have held back some insanely powerful stuff that is amazing but what they showed was kinda yikes. I am still super excited for the end game changes and they did some amazing work so if the mechanic isn't super good they are forgiven.

Mechanic looks pretty slow and clunky. The crafting looks terrible. Used 1 buried body to get "meh" boots, used 7 buried bodies to get more "meh" boots. Even Steel said it.. 600% Modifier to get a Life Mod, and still doesn't roll any life modifier? Nice, sign me up.
