Subject of the Book of Ephesians: "The Church- The Mystery of Christ, the Body of Christ as the Fullness of Christ, Becoming the Fullness of God." The book of Eph. speaks particularly of the Church (All the believers in Christ as the Body of Christ) in seven aspects 1) The Body of Christ , the fullness, the expression, of the One who fills all in all. (1:23; 4:13) 2) The New Man (2:15) having not only the life of Christ but also His person. 3) The Kingdom of God (2:19) 4) The household of God (:2:19) 5) The dwelling place of God , in which we may live (2:21-24) 6) The bride, the wife of Christ (5:24-25) for Christ's rest and satisfaction. 7) The warrior (6:11-12) , a corporate fighter, who deals with and defeats God's enemy to accomplish God's eternal purpose. A particular characteristic of this book is that it speaks from the viewpoint of God's eternal purpose, from eternity, and from the heavenlies. It is positioned in the N.T. immediately after Christ versus religion (Galatians). It is followed by a book on the practical experience of Christ (Philippians), and it leads to Christ as the Head of the Body having the first place in all things (Colossians). May you and Calvery Chapel rise up to the Apostle Paul's speaking and his writings in all his books and not stay as a child when speaking the word of God! There has to come a time where C.C. cannot sugar coat the word anymore- and grow with the growth of God- we have an enemy to deal with as believers in Christ and make our fellow believers rapture ready because the days are dark! May the Lord plant our feet on higher ground! In Christ-Jesus is Lord!

Given the current atrocities in Gaza I don't think this is an appropriate example to use (and yes, I do realise this was posted months ago. but I am not going to listen to someone who thinks that the IDF is doing a good job)
