@@dianetrue2396 His chronology is WRONG! The 70th week of Daniel was completed in the first century, there are NO left over 7 years that can be applied to the tribulation, he is not well versed! The final 7 years of Daniel's prophecy HAVE TO INCLUDE CHRIST'S DEATH at the 1/2 of the final week. That is the fulfillment of Daniel 9:27  “And he will keep the covenant in force for the many for one week; and AT THE HALF OF THE (70TH) WEEK, HE WILL CAUSE SACRIFICE AND GIFT OFFERING TO CEASE. Sacrifice and gift offering refers to the Law Covenant that was done away with by Jesus death. The Scriptures plainly state that Christ’s sacrifice “abolished . . . the Law of commandments consisting in decrees” and that God “blotted out the handwritten document against us, which consisted of decrees . . . and He has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the torture stake.” It was the complete Mosaic Law that was “abolished,” “blotted out,” taken “out of the way.” (Eph 2:13-15; Col 2:13, 14)

I am grateful to say that I am a born again Christian and have been since I was 19.......yes indeed i enjoy listening to this dear man of God Pastor Skip Heitzig and I much pray God's peace and comfort on him and his family each and everyday and that God uses him and his ministry mightily to much glorify and lift high the king of kings and the lord of lords!!!!!! to God Be All The Glory!!!!! Hell was only prepared for Satan and his angels! It is not God who threatens anyone it is the craziness of rejecting the free pardon of salvation! It’s like if you’re in court you’ve committed a crime say you murdered someone! Now if you say to that Judge hey I know I’ve done a terrible thing of murdering that person but I hear you’re a good judge and so I know you’ll be fair to me...... the judge is going to reply well yes you’re right about one thing I am a good judge and because I’m a good judge I’m going to see to it that you’re punished and that justice is served! Well then all of a sudden someone you don’t even know comes forward and says you know what I know he’s committed the crime he’s committed and he deserves to go to jail but I really don’t want to see him go to prison so I’ll just go to prison for him so he can go free! So if you accepted that offer you’d be free to leave the courtroom but if you didn’t well you’d be crazy and go to prison yourself! Well that’s exactly how it was 2,000 years ago! He is God in human flesh and he came to this earth lived a perfect sinless life and even though he knew that we had sinned and because of our sins deserved to die miserably but he said no I don’t want to see them suffer so I will go and take their punishment for them! Even though he did absolutely nothing wrong still he chose to take the punishment for our sins so we can be set free from the power bondages and consequences of our disobedience to God! Romans 5:8 says For God commends his love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us! 1 John 2:2 says he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The truth is if you had to get to Heaven by your own effort then you cannot do it! Because Romans 3:10 says there is not one that does good! No Not One! Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death! But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord! But the good news is Romans 10:9 If we confess with our mouth and believes in our hearts that Christ died for our sins then was raised from the dead we will be saved! V 10 For it’s with the heart we believe and it’s with the mouth confession is made unto salvation! God gave us 10 commandments to follow and we’ve broken every one of them! And because God is a good God he cannot allow our disobedience to him to go unpunished! Well then like I just mentioned above his son Jesus stepped forward and said no I don’t want to see them punished so I will take their punishment for them! And also like I said he died a terrible substitute criminal’s death for us on a cross so now all we have to do is accept that payment for our sins and we can escape the terrible wrath of God that is to fall on them who do not accept this atonement that was sacrificed for our sins! Praise the lord Romans 10:13 says Whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved! And 1 Peter 1:4 you’re an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you! Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! I've been to a number of churches since I came to Jesus. Since the 'Pandemic', the only church that was open was Gold Country Calvary Chapel in Grass Valley CA. Our pastor is true to The Word of Scripture and I am IMPRESSED by the many like Spirited 'podcasts' on-line. I think Skip answered his own question. Why would God release Satan after a thousand years? I believe it's for God to show that the heart of man is so wicked that even after living a thousand years in a reconditioned earth, with Christ on the throne, there will be some people that will still follow Satan when he's released. No Satan would seem to give perfect peace throughout the thousand years. But, it won't as men's hearts are wicked, and who can understand them?

Thanks pastor. True as one bible expositor said once, the greatest impediment to interpreting the Bible is allegorization. An honest and objective reading allows a bible reader to take literally what is literal and figuratively what is figurative. It happens mostly the Bible is literal.

I really appreciate your remarks. I believe this as you presented it but some of my church leaders do not. They are Amillennialists, which breaks not heart. They allegorically interpret these things.

It's good to listen to preachers proclaiming eschatological events as long as they teach what the disciples of the apostles taught. If they teach anything different they are teaching a "new gospel"

@@Orange6921 Dispensationalism is a clearly defined set of beliefs, having nothing to do with the new covenant. Men developed the 7 dispensations theory in the 1850's and they are never mentioned in scripture. the 2 covenants are clearly known from the word alone, with dozens of references, without the influence of theologians. Did the apostles ever mention 7 dispensations,,, no never. did they speak of 2 covenants? Duh!

The Word dispensations comes directly from the King James Bibles, it defines itself as a period of time that God deals with man in a certain way. Paul called the church age the "dispensation of grace" that followed after the law. PAUL HIMSELF USED THE WORD DISPENSATION multiple times in this exact context. Either you are not reading the Bible or you are just a grossly dishonest person. No one here mentioned "7" dispensations, I mentioned 2. AGAIN, your response is grossly dishonest. You yourself believe in a dispensatinal divide between the Old and New covenant. You deny your own theology because of your blind bias.

There is one thing I don't quite understand. Who are these people marching up and surrounding the camp of the saints after Satan is released from the prison after the millennium according to Revelation 20:7-9? I thought only the saved ones whose names are written on the book of life are resurrected during the millennium. Then where are all those anti-Christ crowds from?

Those are people who survived Armegeddon and their descendents from the 1000 year Millenium

Where these matters are discussed in a collegiate way, the church maintains its unity of love and moreover does not lose the respect of a watching world. It is both necessary and desirable that the church continously reviews its views.... If we do not consider opposing viewpoints we are impoverished. And that is the great weakness of adopting the views emerging from overstated eschatology- but conversely if one understates the presence of the emerging Kingdom one is left with , I believe, a diminished Gospel. If the pivotal moment of history is the death and resurrection of Jesus ( and very importantly his ascension ) , then the rule of God ( Kingdom of God) is an existing, albeit incomplete event. Its often described as an "already but not yet situation" = akin to D- Day in WW2. (The enemy had been dealt a desth blow and the end of the war was in sight.) So the power of that Kingdom is present to gather in and transform the lives of people who come in contact with it. And one can have an expectation that , for example, miracles will take place when you share the gospel..eg praying for the sick. BUT the "overstated eschatology" arises amongst those persons in, for example, the "Faith movements" - who focus on what they believe is a completed event. For them issues like suffering, illness , poverty are entirely avoidable. They quote " victory now" verses - and are ignoring the fact that it will only be a completed Kingdom on the return of Jesus. That is overstated eschatology. The converse is found amongst those who have an entirely future view of God's kingdom emerging. What have they to offer one can ask? Is it only this judicial disconnect where the focus is on the work of Christ and ..."heaven". Clearly a recognition of both present and future is needed. If one prays for something in the former group - say- healing, and the person is not healed- what are you left with? Some body who believes " I didnt use the right words, my faith was too weak, ( ghastly stuff)?.....In the latter group you might ( like the JW's !) not be willing to pray for anyone.. - because you don't see the Kingdom as a present event. I hope that helps. Oh and collegiate is about the way in which we go about stating our disagreements. Particularly in these comments here and elsewhere. But here is the point. We can agree to disagree and never become less than Christian in our ways of expressing our disagreements.( I am horrified by the language etc that one finds being expressed by some. Its inappropriate on all levels.)

When God will destroy the earth where will or shall we go? Will God replace the earth with new earth and new heaven instantly that we won’t feel that the earth is being replaced?

I was hoping he touched verse 5, “ the rest of the dead did not come to life”. Also, who are the people that Jesus, and the Christians would rule over, assuming that those who were raised during rapture were already transformed into a glorified body, hence incorruptible.

I think the consensus is that this verse refers to the millenium: "Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed." (Isaiah 65:20) This however cannot refer to the raptured church. Not only does scripture teach us that those who are raptured and receive immortal bodies will no longer die, niether will we marry and have children (Matthew 22:20). Those who populate (i.e procreate) the millenium will most likely be those who miss the rapture and somehow survive the tribulation.

Can anyone elaborate this, why does he say the first 3 and a half years of tribulation will be more or less peaceful? When the horsemen are released and there’s wars and 1/3 of the earth burned up? That doesn’t sound peaceful? Am I missing something?

The first 3-1/2 years are going to be hell on earth, no doubt about it. He will be signing the peace treaty and wooing all people to follow him, even while untold horrors are happening. But, at the 3-1/2 year mark, this is where all changes and hell becomes Hell when he plops his fanny on the throne. The first 3-1/2 he gets everyone totally under his control. Remember what they are touting……l You will own nothing, you will have nothing, and you will be happy “. The last years will be spent in running from him and heads being lopped off. The entire 7 years will be hell such as never before seen.

Probably because the Anti Christ initially deceives everyone by coming up with unifying ideas, peace treaties, words n actions of calm aka Peace n Security. It isn't until the 3.5 year point that he desecrates the temple to reveal who he really is. It is also possible, that the west at that point is no longer relevant. Some think we are not an issue which is why we are not in end times prophecy and all focus returns to the remaining nations. (Maybe why the Jewish calendar is 360? We go back to the beginning?) Jesus' Kingdom of this world will be after thr 1000 years when this earth is renewed, i.e. burned by fire (which also forever destroys all wicked), and the earth is made new. Then the righteous and Jesus inherit the New recreated earth which is restored/recreated by God for Jesus and the saints to live in eternally.

I agree with the straightforward explanation except I still believe that rapture will happen during first half of 70th week of Daniel...it is unlikely that the Rapture will happen without any heavenly event like opening the 6th seal... because God have to follow His political system of His Kingdom

The millennium is easy to understand. The Lord created the week. There are 7 days (6 ordinary days followed by a special sabbath day). Likewise this creatio has 7000 years (6000 ordinary years followed by 1000 kingdom years).

The bride is the 1st group of believers aka the first fruit or Barley harvest in the Spring. We are the gentiles who believe in Jesus after the Jews rejected him. We believe though we have not seen. We are not stubborn/ stiff necked. We watch n wait for him to come for us as in the old tradition Aramaic wedding covenant. We will rule n reign with him just as a wife is beside her husband. Read book of Ruth. Boaz is the Kinsman redeemer and Ruth is the gentile bride. The tribulation saints will continue to live n populate and work on the earth along with the Jews who come into the kingdom. It will be a whole new world. Hallelujah ❤❤❤ that's my understanding. 😊🎉

He is released because after the millennial reign many of the newbies who have never experienced what we went through and experienced in this age, will be allowed to choose via freewill. They will not know or understand what we know. Before God the father finally brings the new heaven and new earth down to live among us, there will be one final judgment/ cleansing for the generation that was born n lived only in the millennial kingdom. That's my understanding of it.

If you read it literal as you say you'd see its after tribulation not pre because John is "literally "caught up NOT the church in chp 4

It is not such a logical fit that sudden appearance of St. John in heaven is compatible to rapture where at first the believers will meet with Jesus somewhere in the sky. Moreover, church will face persecution before rapture, and the days of persecution will be reduced. That fits very well with the event of opening the 6th seal in Rev 7 ...people from around the world nations are in front of the throne of God that indicates shifting of church from the Earth to the Heaven before the wrath of God...

Did people consider what premillennialism entails? Animal sacrifices returning in the millennium etc?

Yes. Just like Communion is a memorial, so is the sacrifices in the Millenial Temple. Otherwise, Eze 40-48 doesn't make sense because it can't be now and it can't be in the New Earth.

Can you explain Revelation 19: 7-9 We are the bride and this makes it look like we're here on earth in these verses: Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. 8Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) 9Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” Please explain; I'm scared.

Scared you should be,,, if you do not have the fear of the Lord in you, It is not hard to see that the preacher here is wrong about a future reign of Christ, You see yourself the bride is here and will never leave the earth in the way they believe, Prov 30 "?The righteous shall never be removed but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth" they will be removed in judgement, which you must be ready to endure, He will be with us to comfort us while we see the wicked removed from the earth,,, Psalms 37. because that is what a righteous man wants who trusts in his God, Peace can only come with the end of the wicked,,, every last one, Jesus came proclaiming the kingdom of God saying it was in our midst, there is no future kingdom for 1000 literal years with the jews at the helm. All ot these dispensational doctrines are false, Judgement is coming and it begins with us and people like this guy will pay for his errors, for misleading the people of the bride,

To my understanding we are in heaven and right before Christ comes back down to earth (second coming) he dresses his bride, the church and we go down to earth with him to judge, hopefully someone else will reply and give more information than I can but the comment you were left before mine feels like a lot of bitterness 😖 we should fear God and we rejoice over that fact because it’s a healthy loving fear for him not shaking on our boots 😂 this fear leads to obeying and doing the work he wants us to do on this earth for his kingdom ♥️

No, you aren't the Bride, these false preachers have no idea what the truth is. The Bride is New Jerusalem which is another designation for the 144,000 anointed. (Revelation 21:2) I also saw the holy city, NEW JERUSALEM, coming down out of heaven from God and PREPARED AS A BRIDE adorned for her husband.

A Millennium Puzzle to solve… Will Christ be conducting funeral services for mortals killed in accidents 500 years after His Second Coming? The “first resurrection” in Rev. chapter 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the Book of Revelation, because the two witnesses are resurrected from the dead in chapter 11. There are two different types of resurrection in John chapter 5. There is a spiritual resurrection from the dead in John 5:24, and a bodily resurrection from the dead in John 5:28-29. Does your view of the Millennium agree with what Paul said in 2 Thess. 1:7-10, when Paul said Christ returns in "flaming fire" taking vengeance on those who do not obey the Gospel? The fire comes at the end of Rev. chapter 20. Does your view agree with what Peter said in 2 Peter 3:10-13, when Peter said this earth is going to burn and "dissolve" when He comes as a thief on the day of the Lord? The fire comes at the end of Rev. chapter 20. Does your view agree with what Paul said in 2 Tim. 4:1, when Paul said both the living and the dead will be judged at His appearing? The time of the judgment of the dead, with reward for some and destruction for others is found in Rev. 11:18, right after the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible. (This verse also proves the Book of Rev. is not in chronological order.) The judgment of the dead is also found at the end of Rev. chapter 20. Does your view agree with what Jesus said in Matt. 25:31-46, where He described the judgment of the sheep and goats, which leaves no mortals alive on the planet at the end of the passage? There are also no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Rev. chapter 19. Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness? Does your view agree with what John recorded in Rev. 9:1-2, when an angel comes down from heaven with a key to unlock the pit, which means the pit was locked before that time? Are there wicked angels already in the pit in Rev. 9:11? John recorded angels already "bound" in Rev. 9:14. The beast "ascends" out of the pit in Rev. chapter 11, which means the beast was in the pit before that time. Take all of the above and compare it to the symbolic language found in Rev. chapter 20, and the fact the Book of Revelation is not in chronological order, and you will have the truth. =========================== Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order ) Christ returns one time in the future. However, there are several different visions of His return shown from different perspectives in the Book of Revelation. Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present? The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ. He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15. The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13. He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet? He comes on a horse in chapter 19. Chapter 20? Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1? (The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.) There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46. Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time? Are there wicked angels in the pit in Rev. 9:11? If the beast "ascends" from the pit in Rev. chapter 11, where was the beast before that time? Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness? Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner. Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book. The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return.

The bottomless pit is literal. Anyone with a basic grasp of sience knows the way gravity works and the way the center of the earth works that it becomes a bottomless pit. Archangel, chain, pit, time space, what evidence is there for you to say ANY of those things are not literal? There is none other than you lack the faith to believe them..

Why would God release Satan from his prison after 1000 years of peace? It is because He is infinitely merciful, and recognizes his angels' free will. God will allow Satan one final chance to repent and humble himself, or choose to be abandoned to Hell. We all have the choice to be rebels or obedient, and so do the angels. God loves his creatures. But angels don't die, so if Satan chooses not to be reconciled, he will suffer forever without end for eternity in a place where there can be nothing good, and never another chance to beg for mercy or forgiveness. Maybe he knows that, but still he struggles to avoid his just punishment. Satan persists in a contest to thwart God's promises to us and judgments against the fallen angels. He surely must know that he will lose, but he doesn't want any of us to be saved. All along, this has been about Satan's jealousy over the status of "these human animals," being unworthy of God's favor. So this war has to play out to its end. The final question is about whether Satan will be humble in defeat and accept whatever penance he must serve to be forgiven. We shall see.

So Skip your saying that Orthodox Christianity is the real Christianity but the Pope of Rome was wrong because he allowed the worship of icons which was idolatry but what has the millennial great schism got to do with revelations 20?

Please tell me where in the bible does it say that God will reign on earth. It doesn't say that. It also doesn't say the 1000 years will be a utopia. It says they will reign with Christ. Christ reigns from his throne in heaven. Furthermore, your claim that all of Revelation is literal is ridiculous. Everyone knows Revelation is almost all symbolic. It has very little chronological order as we know the meaning of word. God will not set foot on earth until he comes to destroy it. That's what the Bible says.

It says the Messiah will reign on earth from Zion on a mountain about 1000 times in the O.T. Don't let allegorizing lead you astray. If you do, you will allegorize almost the entire O.T. And the Jews didn't allegorize until Philo and he wasn't a Jew. He was a mystic. Then Augustine allegorized from there. The obvious allegory like Jesus isn't a door, a vine, a rock is obviously not literal.

V. 23 is the resurrection. Revelation is chronological with a few places that repeat. Rev 20:5 destroys smile because only the ones beheaded reign with Christ for a 1000 years so it's a one time event. No Christian is reigning right now with Christ. Jesus has given rule to Satan. Augustine retracted all his allegorizing in the Retractions. A new heaven and new earth is a renovated earth because only the Sea is no more. V 24 is describing after v 25, reign until all his enemies are under his feet of Mt 22:44 quoting psalm 110 from Zion from the temple. The end comes after the 1000 years

Unless u are going to pick this up next week u didn't explain Revelation chapter 20. After Satan is bound for a thousand years John saw the FIRST RESURRECTION (Caps not shouting but emphasizing words) John says he saw in the first resurrection the great tribulation believer's who must be murdered by the antichrist. He said they lived, and reigned with Jesus for a thousand years. This means there can be no resurrection rapture without the great tribulation believer's being in it, because scripture clearly says they must be in the FIRST RESURRECTION. So how are u guys getting a resurrection Rapture of any kind at the end the seven year period that doesn't include the great tribulation believer's? Your wrong! And here was a great opportunity to expound on who must be in the FIRST RESURRECTION and it wasn't even touched on at all Revelation 20:6 the dead in Christ live, and reign with Christ for a thousand years, so if the dead that were murdered by the antichrist LIVE and REIGN WITH CHRIST FOR A THOUSAND YEARS. This clearly connects the great tribulation believer's to the resurrection rapture, and I might add to the FIRST RESURRECTION rapture. So how are u getting a pre trib rapture of the church happening at the beginning of the seven year period that doesn't include the great tribulation believer's? If you take the Revelation text as literal...then you definitely don't understand the Bible...this text was not written to us, today, but to Hebrew Israelites, 2000 yrs ago. Their writings were almost never literal in interpretation....Using the Grecian world views instead of the Hebraic understanding of the people it was written to will leave you deceived....nice try Skip, but all these Eschatological views are incorrect...

Unfortunately this teaching is based on the false teaching of the pretrib rapture. Check out Last Days Detective if you want get our resurrection story correct. Then you can prepare yourself for the ends times.

Actually the first resurrection began with Christ (He is literally called the first fruits of the resurrection), continues with the rapture and then competes with the resurrection of the martyrs of the tribulation. If you study the OT law, there are 3 separate phases to the harvest, the first fruits, the main harvest and then the gleanings. The only people resurrected in Rev 20:5-6 are the tribulation saints, so you left out the entire 2000 years of church age saints.

The Christians Interpretive Method means everything when it comes to getting the Bible Right. In my opinion Skip is a great guy but as a Bible Teacher he get's a C-...For what it's worth. And no one not even the Devil will burn forever and ever in Hell because the Bible teaches Annihilation.

Let's be true to the text: Jesus spoke of a marriage in Matt 22 where no one who was invited came...(Jews who rejected Him), their city was burned. In Rev 19, the Harlot City (where our lord was crucified is destroyed), after the city is destroyed AT THE END OF THE MILLENIUM (Rev 20), the marriage supper of the Lamb takes place. Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 CE/AD, the New Covenant was established with a New Bride. By logical deduction, the millenium ended in 70 CE!!!!!

True to the text? All you are doing is telling a story and throwing in bits and pieces of different texts in to make it say what you want it to say. Yes, the city was destroyed in 70 CE, but that was only a fulfillment of Luke 21:20-24, which itself was only a partial fulfillment or prophecy. The future destruction of Jerusalem is the focus of Matthew 24:15-21 - _nothing_ of which was seen to have happened in 70 CE.

This chronology is wrong. There is no rapture. There is only the 2nd Coming. Daniel's 70th week is not separated from the other 69 weeks.

The Bible doesn’t ever say there is a gap. That is a framework that is imposed on the text. There is never a gap in scripture that isn’t explicitly stated ahead of time. So the answer to ‘is there a scripture saying there is no gap’ is no, there isn’t. Because there is no gap. So the Bible doesn’t say there is one.

Also, the verses used to support a ‘secret rapture’ don’t support it at all. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-8-the Lord’s coming will be like a thief in the night. There will be sudden destruction. This is judgement language. It describes judgement, not quietly stealing Christian’s up to glory to escape. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 another verse describing us being caught up in the clouds. Except verse 16 describes a trumpet being blown and a shout. Not exactly a quiet secretive catching Christians up. I can go through more but you get the idea. These are all taken out of context. I grew up dispensational and was very upset to find out I was totally mislead when I actually read the Bible for myself.

BUT, common sense tells us that : the a.c. steps onto the scene after the rapture……introducing himself AS a person who knows exactly how to bring peace to the world. Everyone clamors after him, wanting to know more from him. He explains, convinces everyone, and they have a ceremony to “ sign a peace treaty “. So, there IS a gap. Maybe 24 hours……maybe a week……maybe a month or even two, but there IS a gap. No fool would go “ Oops ! There they GO ! And HERE IT IS “ all in one breath. So…….common sense prevails.

Also the ‘thief in the night’ interpretation of dispensationalists is off too. When that expression is used, it’s describing judgement. Revelation 3:3 Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I WILL COME AGAINST YOU. Do you see how Jesus coming like a thief is not a good thing for the person he is coming for? Yet that expression is given to a whole series of dispensational movies made in the 70’s to describe the secret rapture. That is NOT what it is talking about. Please read the whole Bible and not just what CC pastors tell you to read.

This fellow is a decent scholar but not a sage, or even a mystic. Are there no men of God among the colonials? Colonials should read the Seven Woes and see how they are misled in Matthew 23.

The MAIN mistake made when interpreting scripture, and especially eschatology, is the false "Literal" interpretation vs "Spiritual" interpretation dichotomy. The Biblical interpretation is "Earthly/Natural" vs "Heavenly/Spiritual" BOTH Literal! We find this principle in 1 Corinthians 15 when Paul contrasts Adam, the earthly/natural man whose likeness we already bear, with Jesus, the Heavenly/Spirutal man, whose likeness we will also bear. We find examples in scripture too. In Galatians 4, Paul speaks of "The Jerusalem BELOW (earthly/natural) who is IN BONDAGE" and the "Jerusalem ABOVE (Heavenly/Spiritual) who is THE MOTHER OF US ALL." What kind of "Mother" is the Heavenly Jerusalem? What does that mean? It means we were BORN INTO HER, Spiritually, by the Gospel! Hebrews 12:22 says we HAVE COME to the City of the living God, to the Heavenly Jerusalem! The things that Dispensationalists put off to the future ARE NOW! They are REALITY! This is why the Book of Hebrews is called "The book of BETTER things." The OT earthly/natural fulfillments were SHADOWS. The NT Heavenly/Spiriutal fulfillments are REALITY and our found IN Christ, NOW! Remember, in the OT: > Gentiles were "Walking in darkness" (Isaiah 9:2) > Gentiles were “Without hope and without God in the world” (Ephesians 2:12). > God had “winked at (ignored) their ignorance” (of Him) (Acts 17:30) > God “Allowed them to go their own way” (to perdition) (Acts 14:16) Satan had held them CAPTIVE (2 Timothy 2:26) in the darkness of their minds (Ephesians 4:18) BUT when Jesus "The LIGHT of the world" came, He brougth the LIGHT of the Gospel and "the people walking in darkness" (gentiles) "Have seen a great LIGHT" (the Gospel, Isaiah 9:2) In Luke 4 we read "He came to set the CAPTIVES free." HOW does Jesus set them free? Answer: *BY THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL!* THIS is the "Binding" of Satan. Revelation specifically says "That he may deceive the gentiles NO LONGER UNTIL the thousand years are ended." It does not say "that satan can do NO evil." That's NOT the purpose of the binding! While the Gospel goes through the nations/ethnos, Jesus WILL set the captives free! Jesus HAS "translated us from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of his dear son" (the kingdom of LIGHT) This is why in Matthew 12:29 Jesus says "how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house." This is why Isaiah 49:24-25 "Can plunder be taken from warriors, or captives be rescued from the fierce? 25But this is what the Lord says:“Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save." The warrior/strong man HAS been bound! His house IS being plundered. The captives ARE being rescued from his captivity! Read Isaiah 49 in context: JESUS is the True Israel, the "Servant" Zion laments that she has no children! But "The Servant" will bring her children Jews AND Gentiles, to her! This is THE GOSPEL AGE! We ARE in the Millenium when Jesus is gathering His elect from the four winds (all nations) But a "Falling away" or "Apostasy" IS coming (2 Thessalonians) THIS is the time when "Satan will be released for a short time." Once again, the entire world will fall under the sway of the evil one! Righteousness will be scarce on the earth and godlessness will abound. It will be "perilous times." The kings of the earth will all be of ONE mind and will give their power and authority to the beast (Revelation 17:13) It will be the time when the Beast World Ruling system takes control and WILL be a ONE world govt. Kind of like what we are seeing our world move to now! And in this beast system, the govts will give their citizens some form of ID, perhaps digital, without which, "No man may buy or sell" (Revelation 13:17. Do we see this happening even now? Remember the talk of a c0 vid passport, without which nobody could buy or fly? Do you see the govts of the world moving toward digital, govt controlled currency?

I appreciate Skips passion and teaching, but writing off other views as basically not taking scripture seriously is ridiculously arrogant, ignorant, and unloving. From the church fathers, to the Protestant reformers, to modern day Christian’s there have been different views of interpreting revelation. All fit within orthodoxy. All have supporting passages and all have problem passages. The pre millennial dispensational view here is only one view (and really, really, really new in terms of church history). I’m a Jesus loving, Bible believing, pastor, who is very serious about studying the scripture. I’m also a amillennial in my eschatology. So for you to write me (and many others) off is incredibly unloving and disrespectful towards a brother. I’m fine with us disagreeing over this secondary issue, but the straw-manning of the other arguments, the sarcastic, belittling, tone is uncalled for and does nothing to build up the body.

This is not center stage to the gosple! Why be going over, and over, and over this stuff? Why be all hung up on what none of us really know that much about and which so often leads to little more than swelled heads and/or needless devision?

His chronology is wrong, this is the blind leading the blind. This preacher has no spiritual insight, without God's Holy Spirit he will never understand the truth and all his teachings are incorrect. He has no accurate knowledge of Scripture, especially Revelation, do not be misled!

According to who, you? What is your affiliation, degree, credentials, schooling? Those are not necessary except in this instance you are slandering a highly educated and a man of devotion of many years. Your accusations are unfounded and harsh. @@dianetrue2396 When I or anyone calls this preacher a liar it isn't slander, it is exposing them for what they truly are. All you have to do is look at the evidence of his false teachings; if you want to bet your eternal life on false teachings go right ahead, that's using your free will but there are consequences. How did that work out for Adam and Eve? I have studied Scripture for 50 years, I didn't start yesterday. I can say for sure that Christendom's religions will be destroyed at the outbreak of the Tribulation, that is prophesied in Scripture but those phony preachers are clueless. Adios to you also.
